The location of the hotel is in the middle of the Barcelona airport and the city center. I was okay with it but if aiming to travel the city center, this may not be the one for you. There are two big malls including supermarkets a couple of blocks from the hotel, and McD’s and Starbucks right next. So you have almost everything regarding shopping in a walkable distance. It is not a new fancy hotel but maintained pretty well so I had no complaints on cleanliness. Staffs were very much helpful and welcoming. I’d like to appreciate to all the staffs I faced during my stay. Breakfast restaurant and the executive lounge were okay. At Mosaic - breakfast venue, they don’t have international dishes but still good quality of foods to start off a day. The executive lounge was a bit modest but it met my needs of a light dinner. Finger foods were delicious and good enough to close a day.

We stayed in a First Wish Suite and were very impressed by its size and comfort. We had a comfortable king size bed with easy access to controls for lighting and blinds. There was also a small dining area in the room, which made it very comfortable for us to eat during our 5-night stay. The bathroom was huge and had every amenity with separate stalls for the toilet and the shower (although there were no locks on the doors). There were two sinks and a bathtub as well. The hotel has a small pool with lounge chairs and also has a spa. The spa was only open from 3 - 8 PM and it was difficult to get treatments there; however, the amenities of the spa were excellent. There was a large indoor pool with many different features, a sauna, a steamroom, an ice room and a salt room. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We loved Isaac at the concierge! The main reasons that I gave this hotel ”very good” rather than ”excellent” was because of the location. It was not near La Rambla and the old city of Barcelona. It was easy to take the Metro to get to the central areas, but we did not have the experience of being able to walk out the door to the center of town. Additionally, I felt that the lobby was small and did not have the feel of a 5 star hotel. Overall, this hotel has many excellent features and I would recommend it.

The hotel is not far from the Camp Nou, a little far from the central old town, the hotel entrance is inconspicuous, but the facilities inside are good, Barcelona accommodation is expensive! Maybe it was just Saturday.

I'm a Marriot Bonvoy member and was looking for a mid-range hotel in Barcelona. There are two AC hotels, this one on Diagonal and another by the Sants train station. In retrospect, the Sants AC is probably more centrally located to public transportation. However, the AC Diagonal L'illa was a very, very nice hotel which offered a comfortable stay. I appreciated the politeness of the English-speaking front desk staff. The beds are comfy; there is plenty of space (as can be seen in the photographs) and electrical outlets to charge laptops and other electronic equipment. It was, however, the bath towels that left such a deep impression on me for being so darn soft! I wanted to just roll around in them and take them home with me (I didn't, hehe).

The hotel is very easy to find on the casino floor, you can drive directly into the parking lot by car, there are signs. The price of less than one thousand also includes double early in Austria. I am a worker from abroad, who has been coming to this hostel often for a few years. We have always been quite good but since the management and workers of the establishment have changed we are feeling mistreated, they prevent us from cooking when we have the right to use the kitchen , the rooms are not cleaned, our food disappears (it had never happened to us so do not want to blame other guests). Music from the workers that prevents us from resting since, as I indicated, we are workers (12 hours a day) and all we want is to rest and eat something when we arrive at the hostel. The establishment is in a state of neglect. Even the showers lack water. Until today we have always left a 5 eur deposit for the card and sheets and at the end they have always returned it to us but suddenly and without prior notice they unilaterally decide not to return it. At this time and as long as the current situation does not drastically change, not only will they lose our groups of workers (we spend an average of 35 thousand euros) but I recommend to other future guests that they do not stay if they do not want to suffer theft, rudeness, poor attention and lack of hygiene.

Checking in was good and we thought we were in for a great stay. After that it was sadly downhill all the way. Rooms ok but basic, and upgrading to a Suite is definitely not worth the extra money. Take earplugs as the noise from the roads, restaurants, bin emptying etc is constant. The bar was not opened for our whole stay, and the staff were very dismissive when we questioned why it was not available. One receptionist just shrugged his shoulders and looked back down to his paperwork. After check in they barely acknowledged us as we came and went. No air conditioning in the rooms so we had to leave windows wide open at night - cannot imagine what it would be like in summer. No tea and coffee making facility in the room. No outside space to use unless you go down the road to the sister hotel. Basically confined to your room, and you had to go out to find all your food and drink as there was no Room Service on offer either.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. Rooms very comfortable and clean and staff very caring. Front desk very helpful and charming. Breakfast buffet delicious and the service amazing. UN INCUBO, DAREI 0 STELLE SE POTESSI: prenoto questo albergo ad un prezzo molto costoso, nonostante sia fuori dal centro di Barcellona, perché veniva mostrata più volte la presenza della spa che un cliente qualsiasi possa ritenere già incluso nel costo totale, invece fanno pagare la spa ben 20€ anche ai clienti, con orari scomodissimi e per un accesso limitato di solo 1 ora e mezza, pura follia. Si vantano di una piscina che fa schifo, piccolissima e sporca, senza nessuna vista sulla città come dichiarato, schifo totale. Nella stanza manca qualsiasi kit di benvenuto, un albergo a 4 stelle che dà solo una saponetta per le mani. La pulizia non pervenuta, è stato sistemato solo il letto senza cambiare asciugamani o pulire per terra. Avevamo la colazione inclusa ma appena siamo arrivati la prima cosa che hanno detto è stata “non avete la colazione”, provano ad imbrogliare il cliente con i loro prezzi folli. Struttura nel complesso vecchia e scadente, non so come facciano ad avere 4 stelle, costa tantissimo e vale meno di un hotel ad 1 stella. SCONSIGLIO ASSOLUTAMENTE QUESTO ALBERGO, CERCATE ALTRO, EVITATE!
