"my girlfriend and I had a really nice time at Madhu’s homestay. we came to experience the real wildlife and see some animals in their natural habitat. Therefore Bardia national park was the best choice! Madhu’s Resort is really a quiet, calm and green place to recover after our long mountain trek. The rooms are very clean, the bed is very comfortable and we had the opportunity to take a nice hot shower. we also did some yoga in his garden and just watched the sun goes down. the food was outstanding, with ingredients that grows in his garden. Madhu’s wife Anita is a very excellent cook. she always switched the dishes and asked us every day if we have special wishes. we did also some jungle walks and jeep safaris. Madhu and the Guide Ram are very experienced to find animals. Ram have perfect senses to detect noises and animal movements we never would recognize. he knows also very much about the animals and their behavior. overall we can 100% recommend this experience with Madhu, his nice family and Ram. We also want to come back in the future!"

"Bardia Forest Resort is fantastic! We ended up staying here to escape the heat, and are so happy we found it at the last minute. The resort is very close to the park entrance, has air con, comfortable beds, clean rooms, warm showers, good food, and helpful staff. Definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area!"

"We had an amazing 5 day stay at the Forest Hideaway Resort. Mohan was extremely helpful before and during our stay. Designing a safari package to suit our needs and paying special attention to our special dietary needs. The walking and jeep safaris and birdwatching were fantastic. We saw tigers, elephants, otters, deers, civet and so many birds. Padam was an amazing guide, so full of knowledge and the animals, he ensured we got up close without disturbing the animals. The accommodation and food was fantastic. My husband is vegan and Mohan ensured he was very well catered for which is not as easy as first thought in Nepal. All of the food, including the safari packed lunches were delicious, some of the best we had in Nepal. Mohan, Padam and Santu were standout team members, but everyone we meet at the resort was kind and helpful."
