Visited for Sunday Lunch - A truly great meal. We both had the Roast Beef and were not disappointed. It was hot, a great selection of veg, extremely tasty and good portion sizes. The pub itself is quintessentially English with wooden beams, a cosy log fire and the staff here are so friendly and make the pub a place you want to visit again and again!

Have eaten here before but this is the first time we’ve stayed. Our room was cozy, warm and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was really good with the best tasting mushrooms we’ve ever had. The pub is full of character with a lovely open fire. The stand out feature though is the staff they are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble. This will definitely be our go to place when we next visit family nearby.

We were very pleased with our stay at Barford Inn. We came there because of a family wedding near by. A charming inn with an excellent and hospitable staff - and a wonderful breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean. I would be happy to return one day.

Have always loved this pub for a post dog walk roast but now love a little more as Gino & Ben are a delight! Gino (Chef) prepped a delicious roast lunch, with a mini roast for the dog 😉 only 15/20 min drive from Salisbury, worth the drive, highly recommend 👍👍

We stayed for 2 nights and everything was perfect. A warm welcome, clean and cosy place with a lot of charm. Lovely staff and the food was very good. A great location too. We parked the car and didn't use it again until we were leaving. The bus stop was close to the pub. Very convenient.

We had a very warm welcome on arrival from GIno who carried our bags to our room for us and we later enjoyed our first meal. The room was a good size and very clean. The bathroom was roomy and the shower very efficient and the water hot. The bed linen and towels were of good quality and the bed and pillows comfortable. It was easy to turn on the radiators when needed as the weather was damp and autumnal. Plenty of parking led to the pub. The rooms were in a separate building a few yards from the pub door. All 4 rooms were on the first floor up a flight of stairs and there was more comfy chairs on the landing near a book shelf. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfasts were well cooked and presented. The waitresses/bar staff were friendly too. It was very quiet at night part from a humming noise at times which did not disturb our sleep. Perhaps a boiler? It was also a bit difficult to use all the wardrobe space due to position of the TV. A very enjoyable stay in a charming pub in a pretty village. Thank you.

We stayed at the Inn for three nights in the twin room using it as a base to explore the region. It was an excellent stay. The staff, reception, chef and housekeeper were all friendly and accomodating. The rooms was decently sized, with comfortable bed and pillows and warm blankets. The bathroom was large, clean and had good hot water pressure. The room came with teamaking facilities (for the aussies, unless you have booked an entire apartment/house to stay in, the UK doesnt seem to provide kitchenettes in their rooms (fridge, microwave or toaster) as an fyi) so we had a kettle with an option of tea, coffee sugar and milk. We had complimentary breakfast as part of our booking, and we took full advantage having it every morning and absolute kudos to the chef because it was great every single time. There was a large private parking at the Inn for any guest with a car, and you need to do is provide them with the registration at check in. The rooms are also annexed from the pub and have there own private entrance. So it was very quiet and peaceful during our stay. Would definitely recommend

Unfortunately the website booked me in on an incomplete booking without obvious notice. Cancelling was a nightmare and took over a week with 2 emails and 2 phone calls. Whoever took the final call was defensive aggressive about this. However good the pub might have been, first impressions are really important!
