What an amazing place! The owner, Angela Jimenez, is among other things a very talented artist. She warmly welcomes her guests and is very hospitable. The hotel's lobby and public space is a showcase of her art and that of others. It is a unique and beautiful space. The rooms/bathrooms are spacious, comfortable and very elegantly appointed in a manner matching the natural surroundings. Breakfast is generous and served with style. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The walk to town is short and there is a terrific hike to take that leads you through a picturesque valley. This hotel was the highlight of an almost 3 week stay in Columbia!

Very nice hotel on the outskirts of Barichara, but easy to walk to the centre. Lots of space to sit and enjoy the views, and everywhere art in the house. Very friendly owner and staff. Good tips for restaurants, very nice small one with good homecooking nearby.

An artist owns the hotel and it looks like zen meets Columbia meets art gallery. Our shower is open air, beds are comfortable, breakfast wonderful and staff are exceptional. A beautiful boutique hotel experience. I would stay here again. 💖

Outstanding ambiance, design, staff and position. A beautiful architecturally designed house, lovely large rooms and I found the lack of windows delightful, especially in the bathroom. Tasteful artwork by the host adorns the walls and everything is of quality throughout. Great views across the town and over farmland. Cannot fault.

Limpieza impecable en dormitorios y zonas sociales. Desayuno criollo, de la región; la ubicación distante del ruido del pueblo, garantiza un perfecto descanso. La piscina en la terraza superior y la vista desde ese lugar es perfecta; tomar desayuno en la terraza externa es inspirador. La señora Ángela y Deisy demostraron con su atención amable cómo hacen sentir maravillosamente a un huésped, su cortesía fue evidente.

Tout dans cet hôtel est beau. J'y suis restée pour quelques jours, j'avais du mal à partir. On est ailleurs : parce que Barichara, c'est ailleurs en Colombie (si ce n'est pas le village le plus beau du pays, c'est un des plus beaux), mais aussi parce que cet hôtel est spécial. Un peu excentré (mais on y arrive facilement avec le tuk tuk), on y est entouré d'art: les oeuvres exposées proviennent des recherches réalisées par sa propriétaire, une architecte et artiste qui connaît très bien les artisans (sculpteurs, céramistes, etc) du coin. Le personnel est très professionnel, les petit déjeuners merveilleux, les chambres et les espaces en commun sont spacieux et confortables.
