Staff very freindly and helpful. Room was lovely with a good coffe machine and a complementary scone, cream, jam, etc. Some small problems with light coming through the vision panel in the door but stunning setting really enjoyed stay.

Lovely place to stay The stay was great from the start, from the check in and being shown to our lovely room. The room itself was gorgeous and the coffee station and treats were great too. Evening meals are great. The breakfast arrangement is not buffet style and you get a menu and have to order this with tea/ coffee etc at the bar. It would have been nice to have some bowls and fruit to help yourself to but it would not put me off booking again. The cooked items for breakfast are excellent

Great for a very comfortable overnight stay Beautiful, clean, well appointed room with fantastic views over countryside The hotel is situated in a lovely Derbyshire village with many local walks and places of interest nearby. Staff were helpful and efficient. Food was of a high standard if a tad overpriced

Nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. First class One of the nicest friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Owen the manager was extremely personable and was always very polite, friendly and helpful. The food dinner and breakfast was 1st class, the bar area was welcoming and clean and decor of a high standard. The bedroom was clean, classy, warm and inviting. The bed, duvet, pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was opulent and perfect. One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in. I will be back
