"book this accommodation at the last minute and they were so accommodating. Room was typical motel style - older, but very clean, bed comfy. We dined in the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. An indian chef was on that night and he didn't disappoint - better than the best indian food we have had. The staff were also all very friendly - would def recommend staying at this motel."

"Sadly I cannot review this motel in a positive light. The room itself was presented quite nicely and the bed was comfortable. General cleanliness and attention to detail was lacking. We had no toaster, no hairdryer, the shower gel and hand soap were open and, I assume , had been used by the previous guests. Check in was by phone so there was no reception to as for assistance. It was in walking distance to the Country Club inn hotel here we had one of the best meals I have had and staff were fantastic"

The second time in a room that has yet to be refurbished, which was also very comfortable. Ample off street parking, including if towing. It's near the beautiful lake."

"My wife and I spent a couple of nights at this fine establishment and really enjoyed our stay. If you are after simple but very comfortable accommodation, this will fulfil your needs. The accommodation's tariff is very affordable and is of a classic 1960s motel style. The motel rooms are situated behind the far more historical pub, constructed, I would guess, in the late 1800s. The pub also provides excellent meals. We ate there on a Saturday night and there was a terrific female solo who seemed to know a few hundred songs. Her performance was loved by the locals which provided a great atmosphere. Service was accompanied by a very genuine smile and we were looked after by a lovely young bloke named Cam."

"Away from anything. Accommodation is good with spacious rooms but there is nobody onsite, finding rooms 10 to 18 was difficult until we noticed the sign. No baggage trolley, so if you are in units 10 to 18 they are downstairs. There are laundry cages, lower ground just around corner from the lift,on wheels so these would be handy as a baggage trolley. Food and assistance is at the golf club and is a very long walk. NO security and we had booked and paid for 2 nights. We felt so insecure ourselves and also our vehicle, that we checked out after one night. No refund as they have your money "Sorry but we cannot offer a refund but we will check with accommodation." Meals ok Ordered a steak medium well and was more medium to rare. NOT on my list to stay again."

"The fully self-contained units are near new and very well maintained and fully appointed with a back sliding door opening onto a nice open grassy area with a sheltered BBQ and swimming pool. Along the back of the property you can take a moderate stroll along the pleasant Creek Walk to the Golf Club which serves lovely meals at a good discount for seniors. The owners Graeme and Neridah are most obliging and go out of their way to be helpful. It is located a bit out of town in a quiet residential area so you would need a car to get to town where the white sand beaches on the Murray River are a wonderful place to enjoy yourself. I stayed 2 nights and would certainly stay there again. Thoroughly recommended."

The room was large and well furnished and included 2 lounge chairs and a dining table with 2 chairs. The bedside lamps worked. There is a hotel next door with a good selection of food. The town center is a short stroll. Staff were on hand to fix any problems.will definetly stay again."
