"My wife and I spent a couple of nights at this fine establishment and really enjoyed our stay. If you are after simple but very comfortable accommodation, this will fulfil your needs. The accommodation's tariff is very affordable and is of a classic 1960s motel style. The motel rooms are situated behind the far more historical pub, constructed, I would guess, in the late 1800s. The pub also provides excellent meals. We ate there on a Saturday night and there was a terrific female solo who seemed to know a few hundred songs. Her performance was loved by the locals which provided a great atmosphere. Service was accompanied by a very genuine smile and we were looked after by a lovely young bloke named Cam."

"We have stayed at The Sunrise Motel the last 3 years and have already booked for next year. Our group enjoys the BBQ / Entertainment area and the great swimming pool. The Motel is located in a nice area and it's only a short walk to Cafes, hotel and supermarket."

"6 night stay with 15 other golfers. 2nd year staying here. Both times have been great. Rooms are clean and spacious and serviced daily. The breakfast a highlight for me. Walking distance to Sporties. Kerry is a great host. All in all a great place to stay, excellent value for money."

"Disappointed after making a booking on Sunday via Wotif, then having to cancel the booking within 24 hours of making it, and more than 24 hours in advance of arrival, and also rang them to make sure they knew straight away so they could rent it out. Travelling from Adelaide with forecast heavy thunderstorms on route, it was too far to drive in those conditions. The day of the drive was the day Broken Hill was flooded out with 140 mm. That system was heading south. No explanation of why they couldn't refund, tried to fob it off to Wotif as the problem. Could have been talking to ScoMo! Read the fine print closely and whatever you do, don't change your mind, even if your life depends on it. Thanks Wotif, thanks Jerliderie Motor Inn."

"Motel surroundings unkempt and unappealing. Room decor very dated but in good condition. Reception not signposted (it’s to the left of Room 1). Front of motel facing onto main road looks derelict. Considerable truck traffic noise from main road - ask for a room at rear of property. Fridge in room is noisy. No power socket on right side of bed for electric blanket on bed or clock radio. NOTE: Photos online of rooms DO NOT match what we stayed in at all. Photos online show very nice decor - we stayed in Room 1 and decor was old and tired. I believe the motel has acquired new owners and become very run down. Pool area looks neglected. Photos of rooms on the motel website look much nicer and with completely different decor and furniture to the room we stayed in. However, room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable, shower was good. If you are not fussy about decor and ambiance, or on a tight budget, this motel is adequate (just)."
