A very nice hotel. We had a spacious, quiet room looking over the park. Huge and very comfortable bed, large very good shower, plenty of wardrobe space & a sort of clever desk arrangement. Communal areas were elegant and atmospheric with a nice terrace so you could sit out for breakfast or a sundowner. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We had breakfast included, which was typically Spanish but there was also granola (which they call muesli), yoghurt and fresh fruit on offer & eggs however you liked and bottomless coffee, nice local preserves and to our delight, plentiful fresh squeezed orange juice. We booked the romantic dinner which was a good meal with drinks included and made a very pleasant experience. Good location at the quiet end of town and near the little beach which we enjoyed. Ample parking, we had a hire car but didn’t use it all the time we stayed here as there is a huge choice of bars & eateries nearby & Llanes has everything you could want for a small seaside town.

We stayed four nights at this Ideally located hotel in the centre of the town within walking distance of all amenities. Secure parking about 100metres away next to sister hotel. It is an excellent base for visiting the many wonderful beaches and picturesque coastal resorts, as well as day excursions into the spectacular Picos de Europa mountain range. There is also a pleasant cliff top path only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is a nicely restored former convent providing character as well as good comfort. Whilst there is a good choice of restaurants in the town, which the friendly hotel staff can assist with their recommendations, we thoroughly recommend eating at the hotel restaurant that focuses on locally sourced food providing dishes of a very high standard.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The location is very central without being in the midst of noisy bars and the hotel is beautifully converted from an old monastery into a very clean and charming hotel. All the facilities were excellent with a lovely terrace open-air bar and beautiful restaurant. Food and drinks were very good indeed. Our room was on the third floor and was delightful, with all the facilities you would need. However, the best thing of all was the staff. Fantastic friendly and efficient service. More like a 4 star hotel than a 3 star.

Nice enough hotel in the city center. No air con means windows need to stay open or the room gets stuffy and there’s a fair amount of noise around the hotel all night long. Pretty exhausted after 2 nights. Unfortunately the beautiful interior restaurant and outdoor terraces really lack ambience so the advantage of those services make no sense when you realize how many livelier spots exist just around. My attempts to get help from the hotel for things like family bike rental or restaurant help were not successful. At 2x the price of anywhere else we stayed this trip, I’d say it was a let down.

The Don Paco is one of our favourite hotels. We have stayed there on several occasions and have never been disappointed. We booked the gastronomic deal and the food was delicious. The staff are all amazing and the location of the hotel is perfect. Thank you Don Paco for a brilliant stay and see you next year!

First rate hotel in converted convent close to the centre of the town. The staff were very attentive to our needs and made our visit extremely enjoyable. We used the hotel resaurant and chose the menu based on the local cuisine which we enjoyed a great deal. Llanes is a lovely town with an interesting harbour and beaches close by. The car park which is 100m away was free and easy to access. A bonus for us was the EV charging point located in the car park. We are touring the north of Spain in a fully electric vehicle

A very agreeable stay at Don Pacos. Excellent room with lots of space even thought we were in a loft room. Good restaurant and relaxing terrace. Very near excellent safe sandy beach. Good cliff walks too.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Llanes. comfortable beds and pillows. The staff were most helpful and friendly. We changed all our room bookings and they were very accommodating. We also ate breakfast in the beautiful dining area with a vaulted ceiling. Delicious fresh fruit, yoghurt and eggs all from local suppliers. Highly recommend.
