Number 19 Guest House - Self Check in - under 4 Miles from Barrow in Furness

Perfect lovely quiet and wasn’t to expensive very close to the south lakes zoo too which I highly recommend

Don’t be fooled by the exterior. Inside, we had a beautiful, spotlessly clean room with a huge bathroom. It was perfectly situated to visit the safari zoo. We had a very friendly welcome with lots of local knowledge and advice about where to visit during our trip

Good place to stay with street parking very clean room and bathroom with an excellent breakfast included very good value Sophie and Luke are very nice personable people and very attentive and hard working Well done both There is also lots to do in the area Ambleside, Grasmere, Cartmel, and several National trust properties Thank you

Such a lovely little guesthouse not to far away from lake Windermere. Clean and comfortable for the price you pay although I felt our mattress and pillows weren’t to great ( Windermere room) the room however was lovely, spacey and equipped with an iron,hairdryer and a kettle with tea & coffees and a lovely bathroom with shower. When you read the reviews about staying in places your always read how good or bad breakfast were, well number 19 definitely serves a lovely , tasty breakfast, which was 10/10 and the host was full of lo cal knowledge so that we could plan our day. Would recommend staying here, great value for money

What a little gem this place is. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in room was spacious for us and our two children with a great sized bathroom. We stayed for two nights and as we were travelling from Glasgow after work we were later than the 7pm check in but where left clear communication on how to access our room. We were greeted by Sophie and Luke in the morning for a massive full English breakfast which was amazing. Sophie was so knowledgeable about the local area and recommended places for us to visit and eat. The location of the guest house was ideal for the zoo and beaches and we were minutes walk from local restaurants and takeaways. Room was equipt with tea/coffee facilities and towels were a brilliant size couldn't fault anything and would definitely return
