We recently enjoyed a wonderful getaway, taking advantage of the summer special offer. The food was outstanding, the staff were incredibly friendly, and our room was absolutely gorgeous — the complimentary upgrade was such a lovely treat for an early birthday celebration! We also loved our relaxing treatments in the spa cabin. This was our second stay at The Hoste, and it certainly won’t be our last. Thank you for another memorable experience!

Turned up on spec, for food and drinks, very accommodating and found us an early table just what we needed. Service was great and very attentive plus friendly. Orders were promptly brought after ordering, which was amazing as the kids wanted things without plus bits changed, no worries as the food arrived all correct as ordered. All in all a great visit to this wonderful old hostelry… on a beautiful Easter Friday afternoon….

Booked a last minute stay here for a night away and cannot wait to go back. We took our two doggos with us and upon arrival there was a hamper basket with treats, blanket and a toy for them which they loved. Everyone was so lovely and there were people by the door ready to help with unloading our bags as soon as we arrived. The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were spotless and had a homely feel. With breakfast included, which was also lovely, I cannot fault the place! It was very affordable, close to local beaches and areas for walking the pups. We didn't even realise there was a spa and gym on site so we can't wait to go back to make use of all the facilities. Highly recommend!

Thank you so so much for a perfect stay. The staff so kind and caring and the hotel just so clean and beautifully designed we slept so well. The shower too was the best ever. We had Five Star food a cross the whole of our stay. My Chris enjoyed a steak that melted in his mouth and I had the fish of the day - so fresh. The champagne was flowing and we couldn’t believe there was even a birthday card and a slice of chocolate cake on a wooden board decorated with love - my Chris felt so touched by such detail and attention and kindness. We can’t wait to return and will tell all our friends. We’ve told our daughters and their boyfriends to visit too. We can’t thank you and the chef and the team enough. Love Faye and Chris xxx

What a wonderful stay! The hotel is full of charm - the bar/pub area has a woodburner, beams, and tons of atmosphere. The restaurant is large but still intimate as it is spread across several areas, so you don't get that aircraft hanger feel. The food is excellent and the breakfast is outstanding. We had a suite, as it was a special birthday, and we were not disappointed. It was spotlessly clean, although a little tired in places - chipped paint, scratched walls, and doors that were difficult to keep closed at times. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the birthday treat in our room was greatly appreciated. It was a lovely base to explore North Norfolk and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

We stay in Burnham every year and make regular visits to the Hoste for dinner or drinks. The food is always amazing and the service warm and friendly. Val in particular stood out this year, taking such great care of my elderly parents with a smile and great humour and made their Sunday.

Wow. What can I say. Booked for surprise for my new husband birthday. We arrived with such a warm greeting. The place was full with a lovely wood fire. When we checked in at the vine house we were shown to our room which was fabulous. So comfortable, clean and the little extra touches bath robes etc The nicest thought of leaving a plate with happy Birthday on and a card was such a lovely thoughtful touch. We later watched a movie in the cinema which was also a added bonus. In the morning the breakfast was so delicious. We sat upstairs in the games room before we left had a coffee from machine which was free. Very impressed and def would want to come back for another stay. Thank you to all the team. It was one of the best stays we have had.

I went away with my son and husband. This is the second time we've stayed in 4 months, both times were exceptional hence coming back. We had an incredible dinner and I'd like to thanks Summer the waitress who was incredible - so kind and attentive and the gentleman who showed us to our seat thank you so much you were also incredibly kind keeping my husbands dinner warm whilst he fed the baby. The fantastic service continued into the morning at breakfast, everyone is so polite, kind and helpful at the hoste. We will be back for a 3rd time hopefully for my birthday in March! 10/10 on all fronts also a beautiful room, nice and toasty on the cold weekend thanks again everyone at the hoste you made my January!!!!

The room was a tad disappointing.Location excellent.Staff were the worse part of our experience.Waiter ,whilst obviously keen and green,was bullied within ear shot ,By his manageress.Reception to room is Formal ,But feel is a forced Welcome .When checking out was asked.Did I take anything from mini fridge ,which only half the stocks represented on card,(categorised as honesty fridges).Misrepresent evening dinner in Bill.Great location,mediocre room and very mediocre breakfast unless you like your breakfast cold.
