Comfortable room, great stay, enjoyable breakfast, excellent service.

all the facilities are good and we had so much fun especially with the pool since we brought kids as well. the place is very strategic - very near to many shops and restaurants. there are many nearby malls also. RECOMMENDED ⭐️

Okay with ample breakfast. Not in the centre but grab easy acsess. Will visit batam again.

Terrible & hotel so old, service is out. The toilet is not clean, a lot of bed bugs.

The hotel is indeed cheap, but the low price does not justify the unacceptable conditions. During our stay, we found both a rat and a cockroach in the room, which was absolutely unacceptable. The furniture was also old and showed obvious signs of wear and tear. We booked three rooms, and the air conditioning in two of them was not working properly and could not get cold. After complaining to the reception, a technician was sent to check the rooms. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the issue, the technician insisted that the rooms were cold, which felt extremely dismissive and frustrating. The overall experience was so bad that I had to look for another hotel and move out. Unfortunately, it was the Singapore National Day long weekend, so most hotels were already fully booked, making the situation even more stressful. Please think twice before staying here, even if the price is cheap. In my opinion, the unacceptable cleanliness, poor room conditions, faulty air conditioning, and lack of proper customer service are simply not worth the savings. Absolutely one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.

Extremely disappointing stay. The biggest issue was the smell. The entire hotel had a very unpleasant odour, and our room was even worse. The smell was so strong and persistent that it made the room extremely uncomfortable to stay in. Cleanliness was also unacceptable. The room felt dirty and poorly maintained, and we even encountered cockroaches, which made the experience much worse. The shower head was also not working properly, adding another problem to an already unpleasant stay. For a hotel, basic cleanliness, a room that does not smell, proper pest control and working bathroom facilities should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, our experience here did not meet even those basic expectations. The smell was genuinely unbearable and was easily the worst part of the stay. Combined with the dirty room, cockroaches and poorly functioning shower, I would not recommend staying here based on our experience.

It's a refurbished hotel, previously known as Sahid. I'm not sure if they were doing enough renovating the hotel though. I was surprised the room was unlike their photos, the door was bulging as if they were made from wood ashes, the smell of cigarettes was so strong even though I requested for no smoking room. I wasn't sure why, but then they came to spray something to get rid of the smell after that. Another issue was the aircond. I already complained about this, but the engineering team came, but only to wipe it. I already told him that the water passage was blocked, but he juat wiped it down. I suspected that it would happen again, and lo and behold it did. I was so frustrated about this. When I reported this issue, they came again, and confirmed my suspicion all along. They said it wouldn't take long, but it did. They said to wait for their supervisor. After a while, it's decided that I had to move to another room. It took them a while too, only to move me the a room a stone away from the current one. When I got to the new room, the cigarette smell was actually worse, so the guy who moved me called the front desk to move me again, but they were very reluctant to make the change. It was suffocating just to be in the room, even with an opened door. Too many back and forth, and finally they moved me. I was already tired from the travel around the city, and they did this. I was so disappointed. The food was modest at best. Cigarette smell was too strong around the hotel.
