Me and my friends stayed from Aug. 18-20, 2023 and it was awful. The first red flag was the serving size of kare kare worth approx 400php it was a seafood kare kare supposedly good for 2-3 pax but only contains 3pcs shrimps and 2 squids. The sauce was smeared on the plate to make it look a huge serving but wth? the other major red flag was the fact that they kept their water refilling station (hot and cold water) hidden and you have to ask for reception for warm water, the dispenser was not even hidden near the cafeteria, it was hidden in an office. Like how much does it cost for a resort to provide water to guests? Millions? Another thing, the guy server at the cafeteria obviously did not have any training or any kind of knowledge at all about working in a hospitality business. I asked for ice and he advised they don't have any and I can buy from outside like wth am I doing here if I have to do the serving for myself right? Their beer are not even ice cold and they only have 2 options to offer just the plain san mig light and the pale pilsen, like where in the world are we that they don't even have flavored beer here, the guy server will make you feel as if you are an inconvenience in his life when you decide to dine here. You also have to ask the cashier to give you a receipt it will not be proactively given to you. I have no idea what kind of place we decided to stay but it was a mistake. The TV inside the room 103 also ******, volume is not working. There was a sofa set in the cafeteria, when we were eating dinner around 7PM, the same server guy stow away all the mattress and pillows from the sofa and placed them near the cashier area. It was only 7PM and they are packing things away like that. In plain sight. For the guests to see. What kind of hospitality business is that? Just don't go here, theyr turned off their ratings on facebook so there's no way people can easily see feedback. Spend time somewhere else, this place does not deserve your money, your time, I will not be shocked if this place goes down in a year or two. Good luck Bernabeach!
