YHA Bath

Dorm rooms are spacious. Kitchen is curious - large and quite well equipped except that it has only ovens and a microwave, no stove.

The only thing is that I should have booked direct to get it £4 cheaper…

The hostel itself is decent and clean, but there are two major downsides worth mentioning. First, the socket placement is genuinely terrible. There are barely any conveniently located plugs near the top beds, which makes charging your phone or using devices really inconvenient, especially in shared dorms. Second, the location is not really good. The hostel is quite far uphill from the city centre, and walking back to the top is exhausting after a long day around Bath. It’s manageable, but definitely something to consider if you have luggage or don’t want a steep climb every time you return. Overall, okay for a budget stay, but the poor socket layout and inconvenient hilltop location would make me think twice before booking again.

I stayed there for a night and the staff were very polite and friendly. I was happy with their services and if I get back there I might get back to the same place. Thank YOU!

The location is not very convenient and not sure why but the buses that stop in front of the hostel do not show on either google map or apple map so I only found out there there were direct buses after arriving the hostel. However, instead of taking buses, I highly recommend walking to the city centre as you will walk through an amazing field of grassland. The room is very spacious, cozy, and quiet. Highly recommended!

It’s a 25 minute downhill walk to the city centre, but busses go frequently and stop in front of the hostel. Beds are really small.

Great hostel, slept in 10 people room, quite a long walk from the city centre, but the views are worth it as you walk up, showering facilities and everything is clean, only the charging port was not so ideal as the bedframe was preventing me from plugging in my charger, but everything else was great
