Southern Bound Our stay was due to college orientation. Convenient to the campus and quick access to the highway. However, I would advice you to do any shopping prior heading to the hotel; being there isn't anything close by.

They had the BEST breakfast I've had in awhile from a hotel!! Waffles with chocolate chips or fruit & whip topping!! Eggs, bacon cooked to perfection & seasoned potatoes! Also, they had an awesome coffee machine that made like 10 different choices... my kids and I lived it! The room was very clean & the parking was $28 a night in a gated parking garage, which was the cheapest i found when hotel shopping. It's only 3 blocks from Burbon Street!

We were disappointed in our overnight stay. The reviews were 8.6, so we were expecting more. The refrigerator in room wasn’t working and had leaked out in the cabinet. The AC worked fine, but was really loud. Hallways were really hot. Elevator has something spilled and it wasn’t cleaned up, they just stuck a cone over it!! Breakfast was just ok, very few options, extras for coffee weren’t replenished. Hostess in the the breakfast area was very kind, but seemed overwhelmed with the number of people trying to eat with VERY limited seating 😣

I hung up the do not disturb sign before I went to work and they still came into my room and “cleaned it” … nooo I didn’t request any service!
