"Complete delight) Starting from the staff who greeted us at the entrance to the hotel. I didn’t want to leave at all, but we were able to book only for one day; there were no villas available for other dates. The general manager met us and we had a personal assistant. Everything is so beautiful, rooms with a private courtyard are more private than those with access to the sea. The interior is very stylish, a cool area for tea and a shower outside, and the most important thing is the presence of a bathroom) In the main building there is an area for working on a computer and a children's area - an incredibly beautiful room. There are many photo zones on the beach, there is a bar near the pool, and waiters serve drinks. The breakfast is perfect, the presentation and the dishes themselves are top class. We liked the dinner, we ordered a dish from the chef, it depends on the catch that day. We had lobsters. Everywhere they give compliments - coconuts upon arrival, shrimp by the pool, detox drinks for breakfast, etc. We travel a lot, but this particular hotel has sunk into our hearts. Probably, it’s also a matter of emotional attitude towards each guest. The general manager, Umberto, an Italian, accompanied us along with the rest of the staff. We'll definitely come back again."

"This house / boutique hotel is quite simply stunning with beautiful expansive views of the ocean. I would like to keep it to myself but feel compelled to tell everyone about it and to say that it is worth a stop whatever your final destination on the east coast of Sri Lanka. The staff are kind and attentive and their attention to detail is second to none. The young chef cooked the most tasty food. We had Sri Lankan curries including a first class crab curry and lots of vegetable side dishes. All were excellent. There is nothing to fault here. You will not be disappointed and like us you will not want to leave. Thank you to all the staff."

"I had a great stay with my cousin. Only complaint is that it wasn’t long enough! The beach is beautiful. Loved the beach bar which did great lunches fresh to order. The bedrooms were very relaxing - clean and comfortable. We shared a double bed, but it was huge, and we didn’t even notice each other! The staff were super friendly - they couldn’t do enough for you. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

Our kids absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave! The beach is shallow, safe, and stunning, perfect for families. The pool was also fantastic and well-maintained. Our room was ideal for our family, offering a lovely view of the beach, which made the experience even more special. The overall atmosphere of the resort was calm, peaceful, and very refreshing, exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. A special thanks to animator Ruchira, who was amazing. He kept our kids entertained throughout the stay and made their experience truly memorable. Thank you, Ruchira, for making our kids so happy!"

"After staying in so many wonderful places, we were a bit disappointed with this hotel. Some rooms have no – absolutely no – ‘sea view’, even though they’re advertised as such. ‘Bush view’ would be a more accurate and fairer description. The rooms are also very awkwardly laid out; anyone walking to the beach can look straight into them. So you just have to draw the curtains, and that’s the end of the ‘sea view’. This only applies to the ground-floor rooms. There’s also a first floor – try to get a room there. We were able to swap from the rooms at the very back to those at the front, which was a significant improvement. The rooms are very basic and the whole complex is showing its age a bit. The staff are really lovely – attentive and always friendly. The complex and the rooms are very clean. The food is average. Overpriced by Sri Lankan standards. However, there are great alternatives outside the hotel. The beach is also absolutely brilliant and very clean, and I think that, despite the shortcomings described, the hotel is one of the best in the area. So, if the rooms were a bit more lovingly decorated, the ‘sea view’ actually offered a sea view, and the staff were looked after properly, then this would be a fantastic place to stay. Its not far off."

"This is a fantastic place to stay and in terms of value for money I genuinely don’t think you could beat it. It doesn’t pretend to be the ultra luxurious hotels on the next beach along (more than three times the price) but what it has is amazing views, a stunning almost empty beach, safe swimming beach, a super pool and really good food. We had a minor problem with our room which the staff fixed straight away, couldn’t have been more apologetic and even gave us a free seafood lunch (which was totally unnecessary - but very much appreciated) There’s some AMAZING seafood cafes and shacks within walking distance. Beer is really cheap here - and the staff are great."

Our room was comfortable and clean — nothing too fancy, but it had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, a great place for a relaxing vacation, especially if you're traveling with kids.
