A very nice hotel with trendy interior design. You should book the Premier Lagoon room because it has direct access to the pool. Breakfast taste is good and various. The best part is the hospitality 🫶🏻 Thank you Golden Hill, will be back soon!
The Batu Hotel & Villas

I have spent my vacation for 2 days in this chic hotel. My first impression to this property was great. You will find lazy couch and artificial green grass in each balcony and staring a breathtaking views of Batu city . The location is very easy to find since it located just step ahead to the famous recreational theme park in Batu. The room and the bed was so clean and comfort. You will also find a nice shower with cold and warm water. You will also get 2 bottles mineral water and tea and cereals..well..I thought this could be value added service for this property. For moslem traveller, I couldn't find the kiblat's direction both over the ceiling or anywhere else in this room. They also do not provide the saroong for gents to pray. So, you should bring by yourself. I thought this property also must be consider about cloth's hanger coz I also do not find this in the room. Last but not least, for Hotel Manager and HR Manager, you must see your training need analys since your guest service agent was poor and lack responsiveness. I bit disappointed for several needs ignored. Well...over all the choice is yours reader
El Hotel Kartika Wijaya Batu

The hotel itself was very good. We especially liked that our early check-in could be accommodated. The staff were very helpful. We found the breakfast to be excellent with lots of choice. One morning we had to be out very early to visit Mt Bromo, so we requested a breakfast box which had a good selection of food inside it. The grounds were very pretty, with lots of ponds and fish, and the pool looked good. Downsides were that the location wasn't very central to Batu so a taxi was needed. We were there two nights, and one morning there was a wedding which seemed to dominate the pool and breakfast area in the morning. Not a deal breaker for us, but annoying if we had planned an early morning dip!

Senyum World Hotel
4.3/545 Reviews
I'd give this hotel a 1 star review for the main purpose of a hotel room, which is to sleep, but as it's colocated with Jatim Park 3, it does have the advantage of being close by for families with kids who want to see the park. -First of all the person who took our order typed in the wrong date in the reservation system and tried to cancel our reservation during check in but fortunately we had saved all our communication with the reservationist where she said she typed in the wrong date and claimed it had been all straightened out, so make sure you have all your paperwork and email with Senyum Hotel saved. - Our room was on the first floor of the hotel and we were bombarded with heavy subwoofer music from around 8 in the morning to 0200 at night on a weeknight, which gives you about 6 hours to squeeze in some sleep. Apparently the hotel business is slow so they've rented out the basement area of the hotel as a nightclub that goes late in to the night with loud music, but they haven't done anything to mitigate the sound like emptying the first floor of the hotel of guests. - They only have three elevators to serve two hotels worth of guests trying to get to the front desk to check out around checkout time, which leads to long waits for elevators and no stair option for those who just want to go down a floor and get out of their own personal hell. - On the plus side the AC worked although a bit underpowered for the size of the room (we called the front desk and they cleaned the filter a bit which helped some) and the hot water works. If you are deaf, this would make a great hotel room. They also had lots of outdoor games for larger kids but the area is unsupervised so you'll need to stay with your younger children to keep them from being molested. BTW, if you have kids in a stroller, you'll need to manually carry the stroller down a flight of stairs from the hotel lobby to Jatim park lobby as they have no elevator or escalator connecting the two properties, though their owned by the same tycoon.
