After research, selected this hotel to visit friends over a holiday weekend. The selection was made based on the information available on hotel's website, including both the hotel's own descriptive text and photos: a "Superior" room including the optional breakfast was reserved. On the positive side, the hotel is in a good location within walking distance of a small outdoor shopping mall. This afforded us a number of shopping and restaurant options. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered good variety of both hot and cold items. Our room was clean and comfortable. On the negative side, despite what is advertised on the hotel website, it does not have a fitness center, spa or foreign currency exchange; fortunately, there was a Sparda Bank branch within a 5-minute walk. Our room lacked air conditioning, a telephone, iron/ironing board, radio or mini bar. This was disappointing to say the least. Had these amenities been available as advertised, this would be an easy five star review. I included these comments in a survey I received from Best Western.

A very clean and tidy hotel in a beautiful green surrounding, great for nature walks. Our car broke down durin our trip were helped by the extremely kind Daniela via phone booking and at the reception. They even helped us with carrying all our luggage and our 2 little cats in the hotel. We had a peaceful, spacious room. It has not been a planned stop for us, but it has turned out to be an experience we'll never forget. We advice everyone to stay at this peaceful and friendly hotel.

Room was clean and big enough to accommodate a family of 4; plenty of towels too. I wish we could’ve controlled the a/c in the room - it was too warm. The mattress is extra firm which I did not like. Parking garage is tight if you have a sedan or larger. Location is great….Aldi and Rewe are steps away.

Trotz des überaus netten Personals ist dieses Haus eine absolute Bruchbude. Abgeranztes Mobiliar, nicht mehr funktionierende TV-Geräte, der Geruch im Zimmer und auch die Gummikissen des Bettes schreien mit aller Kraft: Nie wieder!!!

Das Frühstück ist gut! Ansonsten gibt es über dieses Hotel „nichts“ positives zu berichten. Das Inventar, der widerwärtige Geruch in den Gängen und Zimmern, die Raucherecke …. Der Investitionsstau ist so hoch, dass ein Abriss am meisten Sinn machen würde. Stell Dir einfach vor, Du machst einen Zeitsprung in das Jahr 1980! Da ist das Hotel hängengeblieben! Niemals wieder für kein Geld der Welt werde ich da übernachten!

Lage super zentral, Personal freundlich. Das reicht aber nicht. Leider ist das Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen! Tropfender Spülkasten der Toilette, „Minibar“ erwies sich als leerer und kaputter Minikühlschrank, der noch dazu innen dreckig war. Die Klimaanlage (Zimmer mit Klimaanlage kosten deutlich mehr) lässt sich nicht manuell bedienen, sondern wird (wenn überhaupt) zentral über die Rezeption gesteuert. Das erfährt man vor Ort über ein Klebeschild an der Klimaanlage. Morgens gab es sehr lange KEIN WARMES WASSER (wir reden von acht Uhr!), sodass Duschen unmöglich war. Der größte Kritikpunkt ist aber das Frühstück. Mit knapp 20€ stimmt Preis-Leistung hier überhaupt nicht! In jedem anderen Hotel habe ich bisher besser gefrühstückt als hier. Fazit: Realität und Homepage stimmen nicht wirklich überein. Insgesamt war es ernüchternd und schlichtweg zu teuer.

Die Lage und das Angebot des Hotels ist perfekt und als zwischen Übernachtung genau richtig. Es liegt nicht unweit der Autobahn A7 direkt in der Stadt .Zu Fuß gleich im Zentrum . Dieses Hotel hat ein schönes Ambiente freundliche Farben ,die Zimmer scheinen doch etwas älter zu sein aber sind in Ordnung und sauber, nur die Kopfkissen waren nicht so gut. Das Personal an der Rezeption freundlich und Hilfsbereit und können mit Reklamationen gut umgehen. Frühstücksbuffet sehr Umfangreich und gut. Kaffee teils aus dem Automaten teils frisch aber dieser ist dann nicht ganz heiß mehr sondern eher lauwarm. Das Restaurant bietet einige Speisen an die ganz gut waren , leider ist das Personal meiner Meinung nach am Wochenende etwas überfordert und der Koch auch so das 2 Zutaten fehlten???
