Wow, where do I begin property look abandoned not sure if it was new but no one was there. No service power was off when we first arrived when power finally came on. There was no Wi-Fi. There were bugs all over the place. Hot water would only work for two minutes. Wow, I could go on and on.

When you are looking for a luxurious and remote, safe and beautiful resort and you bring some Caribbean Patience - then this place is for you. The whole gated community (Hard Rock Hotel is also part of it) is beautiful and well maintained. The apartments are just like on the pictures. Very high Caribbean Standards. The resort’s pool is very big, the Restaurant does have great food. The place is a little remote. But the polite, very attentive and energetic drivers Felipe and Maurillo will take you to the Airport, Supermarket, Playa Macao and the Beach Club. You‘ll have access to the exclusive Beach Club of the Community for little money during the week (you can spend this on food and drinks at the Beach Club). I have never seen such a luxurious Beach Club for that little money. There is one thing you have to be aware of. This place does not have a classic front office. All communciation works by WhatsApp, which works - but you have to bring some patience. The host is VERY welcoming and super nice (we even got a free room upgrade after a small problem) - but not super responsive, probably because of a lot of work. That means you want to organize important things like the airport shuttle at least two days ahead. In the Caribbean, things take time. I really recommend the Airport Shuttle at least for the arrival. This way you‘ll make sure to access the community. All in all, we had an amazing time at the resort once we figured out the communication. Beautiful place.

The condo was great very clean. The staff was great and very helpful. The shuttle to the beach was nice but limited on drop off and pick up times so we walked and it’s a long walk in the heat but worth it. The extra $15.00 per person to go on the beach every day was pretty expensive when you have a family but you can use the ticket toward food and drink at the restaurant on the beach they charge $40.00 charge to shuttle to the airport was a bit expensive

There is no front office or staff. All communication was through What's App and was not very responsive. The room had paint peeling off the walls and getting on the couches. The room was listed to have a sofa bed, but it was just two couches that pushed together. There were no sheets, pillows or blankets for the sofa bed. The staff at the restaurant could not speak any English and still got orders wrong when pointing directly at the items on their own menu. The hotel itself is decent and the rooms were relatively modern and nice. If there was better management/communication it would have made for a much better experience.

Great stay, convenient. Communication was good. Restaurant was yummy, affordable, clean and pizza was on point! Pool and golf course in view. Will stay again.

We had a negative experience with this hotel from the very first day because of a supervisor named Eliana. She consistently had a poor attitude towards us and was dismissive when speaking to us. Asking simple questions of her was treated as if it were a burden. When we checked in, she did not give us the QR codes we needed, which created delays when we tried to enter into the lobby through security. She provided us with a different room number from what the security team had, which created confusion and increased our stress levels. The shuttle service was poorly ran. There was a schedule posted, however it was not adhered to. One morning we received information that we would not see a shuttle for hours and to go eat breakfast instead. We had just finished breakfast when we were told the shuttle arrived. The next day we were given conflicting information again. When we requested a beach rope pickup, which they advertised as a service, we were told it was not available because six people already booked the shuttle ! So we missed going to the beach. Our room was fairly clean, but the bathroom was not acceptable. The drain continually clogged, and the toilet seat was discolored and had visible stains on it. Overall, the poor communication and lack of professionalism from Eliana made for a very disappointing and frustrating experience during our stay at this hotel.

Property was nice, clean…had a hard time communicating with the managers.
