Beautiful resort. The food is average, mainly because the buffet mostly consists of pork and chicken. Service: some staff members were very friendly, while others clearly lacked patience. I really enjoyed the entertainment team—activities every morning at the beach, in the afternoon by the main pool, and there's always an event in the evening. The à la carte dinner restaurants are gorgeous, but it's hard to book through the app; I recommend booking directly at the front desk on your first day. There is seaweed on the beach, but they clean it up in the morning. Some days the sea was clear and calm, while other days had seaweed and rougher waves.

Great location! Beautiful space with animals, a pool, and a beach where the sargassum was cleared every morning. Excellent food, perfect themed restaurants for dinner, a lovely room with a bathtub and comfortable bed, 24-hour electric car transportation service, and a great gym. This place is perfect for couples, friends, or families!

Like most all-inclusive resorts, the food and drink quality isn't great. Don't go in expecting anything different. Even the themed restaurants offer very mediocre food and drinks. There's plenty of it, but not much quality. The facilities are in excellent condition. The suites are always clean and well-maintained. The service, in general, is okay. It's important to bring small bills for tips, as the service always improves when you do. The staff always expect to be tipped. Another point to consider is the size of the complex. Since it's so large, we had to take internal transportation to get to the beach or for breakfast, for example. One area for improvement is that they could do a better job promoting the available attractions, both included and extra. Because the resort is so big and has so many guests, personalized service is more difficult. But overall, it was worth it for the value.

This place was a huge disappointment. We stayed in a suite in the villa, and the air conditioning during the day was completely useless; the room never cooled down. It only started blowing somewhat cool air at night when the outside temperature dropped. There's no elevator, so if you don't call a bellhop, you're lugging your luggage up and down stairs yourself. It's at least a ten-minute walk to the restaurant, and in the daytime sun, you'll be drenched in sweat by the time you get there. One morning, I walked into the bathroom to find a large chunk of plaster from the ceiling on the floor. If that had hit my head, even if it didn't crack my skull, getting plaster in my eyes would have been awful. The internal phone in the room didn't connect to any department. On checkout day, I couldn't reach concierge for a pickup and really didn't want to drag my luggage for ten minutes in the scorching sun to the front desk. Luckily, I used my cell phone to make an international call to the front desk, and a luggage cart finally came. At checkout, the front desk even had the nerve to ask if I enjoyed my stay. After hearing my complaints, there wasn't a single word of comfort, and even their fake smile disappeared. It was an attitude of 'you're leaving anyway,' completely unbothered. If you don't want to suffer, absolutely avoid this place.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It has a large, well-maintained property with lots of greenery and peacocks roaming around. The beach is spacious, with white sand and an unbelievably colored ocean! There are many restaurants and a convenient booking system. Everything was fantastic, except for one thing – on my last day, I discovered that the lock code on my suitcase had been changed. It's unclear why the staff would do that, but it was unpleasant. I didn't lower my rating because of it.

The resort is stunning, with its fantastic location, picturesque beach, and the natural park within. The food is good, with plenty of variety between the buffet and the themed restaurants. However, there are a few things to note: the property is massive, and the internal shuttles can sometimes take a while to arrive. Also, during peak hours, the staff struggles a bit to keep up with all the guests. In our room, we noticed a slight damp smell, which is typical of the climate but still a nuisance. They were a bit pushy during check-in, trying to get us to attend vacation club presentations. Overall, it was a lovely holiday, but with a bit more attentive service, it would have been perfect.

Choosing this resort was the best decision; I was very satisfied and highly recommend it. They have a varied international buffet, and several cultural restaurants – Japanese, sushi, Italian, Mexican – which need to be reserved 24 hours in advance and by 3:00 PM on the day for dinner only, with some restaurants having limited seating. There are two pools: a large one near the beach with a bar, and a smaller, quieter one near the spa and gym. The gym is small; I recommend going early in the morning, at 8:30 AM, to use most of the machines. There's also limited space for stretching. The rooms are incredible, spacious, with balconies, and daily cleaning is available if you wish. I visited during Sargassum season on the beach, but they clean it every day. On the beach, hawkers selling jewelry and tours are allowed, which can be annoying as they are persistent. Within the resort, most of the staff only speak Spanish. The entertainment was very weak. They repeat almost the same activities with the same music every day. After a few days, it becomes boring, and they don't take the initiative to interact with guests. The night parties vary daily and are themed. The staff are friendly, but the reception provides little information during check-in; you have to ask questions. Capuchino Café, in the Platinum area near the beach, is one of the best places to hang out, open to all guests. You can get coffee, machine-made cappuccinos, and much more, including crepes and waffles. I thought it was an adults-only resort, but it wasn't; there were families with young children, but they weren't bothersome. The resort is large, but there's a train that circulates, which you can catch. I found the resort very welcoming, clean, renovated, modern, very green with many palm trees, lakes, and outdoor spaces to relax, especially in the Lobby and Bar. The party music only goes until midnight, making it peaceful for relaxation and rest. I'm writing this more descriptive review because, when deciding which resort was best among so many, I relied on other guests' reviews to make the best choice for my vacation. I highly recommend it :) I loved my vacation at Grand Bavaro Princess.
