Lovely hotel close to the beach, restaurants and promenade. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We loved the rooftop pool and friendly waiter service. Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely little hotel just a very short walk to the beach and the Marina with all its cafes, restaurants and bars. It’s a truly stunning area but there are lots of hills. Room was big enough, spotlessly clean with comfy beds that were made up every day. Good modern shower and the hotel provides basic toiletries. Tea and coffee were provided along with a kettle and a fridge in the room. There is a small rooftop infinity pool with stunning views over the marina and in towards the town. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and welcoming. Reception staff were very helpful with directions and tips for places to go etc. nothing was too much trouble for them. They found out taxi prices etc without being asked. A special shout out to Syam who always had a smile on his face and kept us supplied with wine at the rooftop pool. In a nutshell you can’t go wrong with booking this hotel. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back and see more of the amazing area.

I literally just got back from my trip with my mum for her birthday. Stayed at Hotel La Mer for 3 nights. So close to the beach with is always good. The room was lovely and spacious, perfect for 2 people with luggage. The hotel was clean with staff that smiled at you every time they saw you. We made use of the rooftop pool area which was peaceful and had breakfast there. The breakfast was OK, it was enough of a variety to keep you going for the day, with a mix of sausages, fried egg, scramble eggs, bacon and cold bits and pieces. There are many restaurants along the beach to have a meal, though the hotel does offer dinner with a given starter and dessert and a choice of two mains. It was nice to try new things but I would have also wanted to chose more of what I ate, but again, the food was enough to keep me going, so I can't complain. A short cab ride to Budva, and from there you can do a 45 minute bus journey to Kotor. But what really did it for me was when the manager Tatjana found out it was my mum's birthday, she kindly left a bottle of wine in the room to surprise my mum. This meant so much to me and my mum. Tatjana kindly provided us with a list of things to do and beautiful places to see in Montenegro and highlight her top choices, she also arranged breakfast to go for us as we were checking out very early. I thank her and her staff for adding to such a lovely birthday for my mum. All in all, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

Booked 4 nights / 5 days in this glorious hotel as a little break . Staff are awesome . Rooms are beautiful and spotless and the rooftop pool and subbed area is a huge bonus . I booked b and b as I like to try local cafes and restaurants at night . I was not disappointed. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and good choices . The staff were very friendly and helpful as I was a solo visitor. Only 150m from the beach and promenade. Would definitely recommend staying here .

Modern hotel close to the sea. Good breakfast, comfortable beds and nice room with plenty of closet space. The staff was exceptional. Specially, Tatiana who was so helpful when the airline lost my luggage. I would like to stay there again

My stay here was full of problems. I booked a room on the 5th floor with a sea view, but the shower was practically unusable because the water pressure was so bad. When I complained, I was told it’s “normal” on the 5th floor. At no point during booking or check-in was I warned about this, and had I known, I would never have chosen that room. The half-board option was another huge disappointment. Breakfast was just about acceptable, but dinner was dreadful. The same repetitive food every night—always some version of chicken, fish, or pork, served with either potatoes or fries. No variety, no effort. When I questioned this, the staff admitted that most locals only come for breakfast. If that’s the case, why even offer half board if they can’t provide a decent evening meal? Overall, my experience here was very disappointing. Instead of enjoying my holiday, I spent most of it frustrated with poor facilities, misleading location details, and uninspired dining options. This hotel needs serious improvements to its dinner service and to fix the ongoing water pressure issues before I could ever consider recommending it.
