GGuest UserWe like the experience. It’s small and cozy. You live with nature, all those insects are crawling inside your bathroom, toads are looking at you)) but it’s fun. Place is very small. So, there are 4 houses next to each other and one swimming pool in the middle. No space to go, even to look😅 all touristic attractions are very far, but we found a bus to monkey forest and used scooters to reach waterfall.
Staff are sooo friendly, hope they will improve the location point on google maps and photos in this app. Duplex is for 2 floors house (photos from the second floor should be delisted from one floor house). I’m

ВВероника ГоршковаWe liked everything. Light, warm interior - you can see that it has been recently renovated. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather and it was very rainy, so the room was damp, but they changed our towels and robes, there was no mold smell - this is super. A small piece of rice terraces behind the pool - you can see it from the window of villa 1. The green area, decorated with flowers, is beautifully lit in the evening. It is nice to spend time on the territory of the villa. There is a cafe with a good rating nearby, but there is nothing else close - you need a bike or other transport. But with transport there are a lot of different activities around - we were at waterfalls, and on terraces, and in temples, and hugged civets, in general, a lot of everything within an hour's drive from the villa. Ubud is also within transport accessibility. At night you can hear the sounds of nature from the terraces - frogs, cicadas. There are a lot of insects, but there is a canopy above the bed and if the door is closed, they will remain outside. I loved the bathroom the most: we were freezing because of the rain and it was great to warm up there. The breakfast was very filling, the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you, we liked everything!

HHemaliI loved the room! It was perfect, beautiful presented. The cottage was in an ideal location, very close to many things for example monkey forest, arts market and restaurants.

The room was perfectly clean, nice linen and bed. Aircon worked properly. We had a little kitchenette which was a surprise, basic but practical. Concerning the location, it depends what you are after. It has a walking distance to kelingking base, 30 min walk with little hills ups and downs . Perfect if you are planning on going for sunrise which we STRONGLY recommend. This is located just in the middle between turtle bay and kelingking. If you don’t want to walk you can rent a motorbike for 100k the day with the staff. Nice pool, rooftop dinner is currently in reparations and they are still constructing close to the rooms so some strong noise during nap time is to be expected. Overall great experience and we recommend!! :) thank you guys for this nice stay.

GGrantJThis is a little gem on the quiet side of Nusa Lembongan.
The huts themselves are traditional but well equipped. Excellent linens and bedding and comfy mattress. Good airconditioning and a mozzie net. Fridge and mini freezer that worked well. The bathroom is a bit rustic but serviceable.
The facilities include a cute little infinity pool and shady loungers. The beachfront location is outstanding. 5 steps from the hut to the pool and another 5 to the beach.
While it seems isolated there are plenty of restaurants nearby within a short walk.
The breakfast provided was ok- simple and tasty.
Bring insect spray if you don't like creepy crawlies and a torch for walking around at night as there's limited streetlights.

GGuest UserTruly enjoyed our stay at The Angkal. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The villa is sweet and cozy overlooking the beautiful sea and a pool. The food was delicious especially the local food and we love relaxing at the cafe. The location is at the east side of the island which was quieter from the busy West. If you would like to explore both west and east side of the island, this resort is perfect as it is located in between. One cons though there is no gate surrounding the villa and the stray dogs could come at night. Just be sure not to leave any food outside at night.
All and all great value for money and would definitely come back again.

GGuest UserThere are many good hotels in uluwatu and this is not one of them. For the price, there are many other better alternatives. I booked a family room for 2 days but the place was overbooked and we had to get a 1 bed plus an extra bed. In my 2 day stay here, the water supply was cut twice for a solid 5 hours, there was no water. There also is no reception phone to call and only a WhatsApp number managed by one person, if that person is not there, well, you'll have to find someone physically. Other than that the loud noises from the bar nearby, the passing traffic and the screeching from the wind being blown in from the loosely fitted windows made it hard to sleep at night.
Pros: New, close to road, strong WiFi.
Cons: Lacking services, broken fridge, mosquitos,loud sounds, water supply cut off, overbooked, sheets were slightly stained.

AAnonymous UserThe place a little off the main street but still reachable by car, even though no designated car park available only for motorbikes. The room is spacious, AC is working fine. Shower is semi outdoor and they provide basic amenities. The share kitchen is outside near the entrance, pretty complete utilities. There is no reception desk but they left a phone number for you to call the villa staff. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good place for a weekend gate away. Nearby you can get dinner or lunch at Mojos Burger.

FfangcrystalThe family who runs this place is truly very nice and caring so i feel bad writing this review.
The place is literally a 20 mins walk into the forest and out in the middle of nowhere. It is not where google maps says it is so be mindful. The room itself was not bad but we did have a gecko in the bathroom and spiders falling from the wall onto the bed. The host did help out w the gecko/ lizard thing and assured us it would not come back but we just blocked off the bathroom with our towels and bags to be sure.
This place could be nice if you are used to camping / nature. In fact it has a very unique charm if you’re into that sort of thing. However for those who do not really like that then stay away from this place. In fact only come to penida for a day trip because most places on the island is like this.
