Weizhou Island Reef Homestay

It seems many people bring kids, so I'll write a review specifically for those traveling with elderly parents. First, the conclusion: if you're traveling with seniors, don't hesitate to choose Reef Hotel! When planning, my grandparents said they wanted to see the sea, and I was racking my brain because my grandpa gets out of breath after walking for 5 minutes and climbing three flights of stairs. All the trips I took during school involved a lot of rushing. So, when I saw how close this hotel was to the beach, almost like having a private beach, I booked the entire trip immediately. You could say I came to Weizhou Island just for this hotel. And indeed, even though the money flowed like water (nearly 2000 just for four people to get on and off the island, ugh!), it was truly worth it!!! The service is excellent, messages are replied to instantly, and they pretty much grant every request. The afternoon tea was delicious! There were a few minor misunderstandings during our stay, but solutions were quickly provided. If we wanted more fruit, they'd bring plenty. The breakfast selection is quite rich, especially the yogurt! Plus, the seafood prepared by the hotel is delicious! Both my elderly grandparents had a wonderful time, constantly checking the tide coming in and going out, then lying down to enjoy the sea breeze. It was heartbreaking when they told me they never thought they'd see the sea again or leave their hometown. From that moment, I vowed to take them across the length and breadth of China! In short, there are many high-end B&Bs on the island, but if you're bringing seniors, I truly recommend this one~~

Our stay at Reef Guesthouse on Weizhou Island was fantastic! We booked the Tranquil Pool King Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with an island vibe. The guesthouse environment is serene, the pool is super photogenic, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were warm and attentive, making both check-in and check-out smooth. The location is also convenient for getting around. We felt so relaxed on the island, and it truly enhanced our holiday experience. We'd definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Weizhou Island. Highly recommend!

CORALREEF | Afternoon Tea: Absolutely delicious, the desserts were amazing, and the beach cocktails were great too. The private beach was well-maintained. Goodnight Sweet Soup: Not just the sweet soup, but all the meals were excellent. I especially loved the room service. Weizhou Island Pier Pick-up and Drop-off (one trip each): Timely and efficient. Service: The butler group was attentive and helpful. Everyone we met was polite, and any issues were resolved immediately. They also gave us great advice and reminders for touring the island's attractions. This hotel is definitely the most worthwhile stop on the island. Guests 313 & 610

The scenery is beautiful, the decor is lovely, and the service is excellent. The greenery is beautiful, and the beach is great. The coconut tree photo shoot at the hotel was fantastic, and they even gave us five free photos, which was a pleasant surprise. Very good and very satisfied.

The hotel's location is superb, right on the beach and ocean. In the evenings, there's live music at the beach bar, and the beach swings with blue lights create an amazing atmosphere. The infinity pool is incredibly picturesque.

The room was spacious. We bought seafood from the night market and had the hotel prepare it. The processing fee was a bit higher than the market, but the taste was excellent, and they delivered it right to our room, which was much more comfortable than eating out. They also served the food precisely at our requested time. Fantastic!

The room and service were definitely worth the price! You get what you pay for! The butler service was always responsive, and food and amenities were fully stocked. The staff were polite and friendly. Especially the free laundry service, which was a godsend in the scorching August heat!

After staying in a beach villa the night before, I switched to this pool villa for a different experience, and it was fantastic. The room was significantly larger than the beach villa, and the private pool in the yard was amazing. From the pool, you could see the ocean directly. All the other services were also excellent, especially the breakfast delivery to the room, which was a really nice touch.

We stayed at The Reef Hotel for two days, in different room types. On the second day, our room offered breathtaking, unobstructed views of the beach and ocean right from the moment we opened the patio door – absolutely stunning! The service was also top-notch; they were always ready to help with anything we needed, including laundry and drying services, which only required a quick word with our butler. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the afternoon tea was particularly good, with the option to have it delivered to our room, which was a fantastic touch. Plus, the complimentary coconut-themed photoshoot provided by the hotel was a lovely bonus; they captured beautiful photos of my little sister!
