Property Description

**We are a poetic abode 300 meters away from the sea, just the right distance between the mountains and the sea.** Nestled in the heart of Weizhou Island, we are merely 300 meters from Shell Beach -- close enough to catch the sunset sinking into the sea when you glance up, with the evening wind carrying a faint breath of the sea, yet just far enough to stay away from the noisiest rush of the tides. When we first built this courtyard, we had the philosophy of *"Hidden in the Woods, Close to the Sea"* in mind: we let the houses grow along with the wind in the woods, not treating the trees as decorations, but truly blending nature into the walls and windows, turning this place into a retreat you can embrace the moment you step in. When you take a vacation here, you can choose your own pace: If you want some fun, you can stroll to the beach in just 3 minutes -- step into the cool waves to try surfing or windsurfing, or walk slowly on the fine sand barefoot, letting the wave tips brush against your ankles. If you prefer tranquility, you can soak in the infinity pool in the courtyard: the sky above holds the island's clouds, and the pool below holds them too. You don't even need to go out to hold the leisure of the island in your hands. When building the houses, we always wanted to keep a bit of Weizhou Island's character in them: The walls of the suites are built with local coral stones, carrying the warmth of old fishing village houses; the pottery in the guest rooms is made by local artisans on the island, and the linen bedding feels soft against your skin, like the wind in the woods is woven into the fabric. This is the vibe we want: close to the sea and the woods, yet leaving all the bustle outside the door, for a steady, peaceful relaxation. As our regular guests say: *The 300-meter distance is perfect*. The sea won't be noisy enough to disturb your sleep, yet you can see it the moment you look up. The mountains are quiet too, accompanying you to slow down your days.

The room was spotless and incredibly tidy, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. They were always available online, which was a huge plus, and they went over all the important details. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

New and well maintained, owner very helpful, neighbour rents escotters, very nice rooms, perfec location near Shell beach, plenty of restaurants in the village. Coffee at reception 24/7. Pool not really needed as you'll walk down to the beach. Glad we picked this place!
