My stay at SOWN Hotel during my Beihai trip was a fantastic surprise! The unique terracotta rammed earth architecture, filled with a coastal wabi-sabi aesthetic, makes every corner a picturesque scene perfect for stunning photos. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Silver Beach, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The rooms are spacious and incredibly clean, with thoughtful amenities. The one-on-one butler service was very responsive to all my needs. Wandering around the hotel's seaside pool and art exhibition hall was also very pleasant in my free time, and watching the sunset over the sea in the evening created a truly magical atmosphere. It's perfect for couples or a getaway with friends, highly recommended!

The hotel shows thoughtfulness everywhere, and my experience during the stay was excellent, with both the facilities and environment being top-notch. Upon departure, I received a warm farewell from the hotel, and every detail showed their sincerity. I truly enjoyed the sea breeze and sunset here. It was a very comfortable stay, and I will definitely choose SOWN again next time I visit Silver Beach. I recommend it to friends who enjoy quiet, slow-paced travel!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's just a stone's throw from the beach, so you can literally walk out and enjoy the sea. Unlike some trendy B&Bs, this is a legitimate hotel, and it shows in the quality of their bathroom fixtures, linens, and excellent hygiene. I initially booked for one night but extended my stay for another in a garden-view room. For families with kids, I highly recommend the garden-view rooms; the balcony provides much better ventilation, which is a plus since it's a new hotel! Breakfast is served until 2 PM, and they'll even deliver takeout right to your room. The shuttle service is on-call and super attentive. Downstairs, there's a small commercial area with restaurants and a beachside coffee shop. It has a chic, advanced aesthetic, almost giving off an Aranya vibe. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the pool. If the pool were on that open beach area outside the lobby, it would be absolutely perfect.

The one-on-one butler service and free laundry (which we absolutely loved!) were a lifesaver for us on our road trip. We initially booked for one night, but extended for another because the hotel was just so good. I'll leave some surprises for you, but it's truly a hotel with amazing attention to detail. I'll definitely come back to Beihai, just for this hotel. Our pet also adored the large bathtub!

The facilities are new, and the service is excellent. The scenery is beautiful and very photogenic. Right outside, you can find the famous 'crooked neck tree' for a perfect photo op. This hotel is especially suitable for family trips. You don't even need to leave the premises, as the restaurants offer great food at reasonable prices. The thoughtful breakfast service until 2:00 PM is perfect for those who like to sleep in. Every corner of the hotel is beautifully decorated and picture-perfect.

Guests benefit from a dedicated butler team, ensuring prompt and efficient service. A golf shuttle service is also available for convenient transportation. The breakfast offers a European-style selection with exceptionally fresh ingredients and made-to-order main courses, demonstrating thoughtful preparation. The room layout is well-designed, featuring an effective separation between the living room and master bedroom. Excellent soundproofing at night ensures activities in the living room don't disturb the master bedroom, guaranteeing a peaceful sleep. The overall aesthetic is truly captivating, with both the facilities and service being top-notch. It's perfect for both leisure getaways and family trips. A truly comfortable beachfront stay, highly recommended.

I was hesitant when researching, but after visiting, I'm absolutely certain I'll stay here again. It's super new; I asked the housekeeper and found out it just opened in June, hence the lack of reviews. The hotel's facilities are divided into Buildings A, B, and C, like a creative community. You can have lunch and afternoon tea all in one place without leaving. We were four people and stayed in a family room with a sunset bubble pool. After looking around, we realized there weren't many hotels where four people could share a room, so we decided on this one. There's afternoon tea upon check-in, and also in the lobby, available in both Buildings B and C. We had dinner at Makana in Building B, which I highly recommend. You can reserve a window seat in advance; there aren't many recommendations on Dianping (a Chinese review platform), so I was initially worried it might be bad, but we were very satisfied with the meal. It's similar to a bistro. Building C has shops selling porcelain and offering delivery services. We also found a shop selling niche earrings (SALE E PEPE). Overall, the service was excellent, and the toiletries were all from the brand. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the pier for a boat ride, which takes less than 10 minutes.

How did they get this 5.0 rating? The exterior is terrible, like a garbage dump, the visual appeal is awful. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, smells musty. The breakfast is awful, there's nothing to eat, and the noodles I ordered took 10 minutes to arrive. I strongly advise everyone to go to a five-star hotel; this one is truly awful.
