Hotels near Beijing Urban Planning Exhibition Hall in Beijing

I went mid December, and they upgraded my room from a windowless room to a beautiful Chinese themed larger room for free. However, due to the large window, the heating system scouldnt keep ul and the temperature couldn't get higher than 16 degrees. Luckily, I come from Canada so I wasn't that bothered but I can understand how it may be uncomfortable for some travellers. On the second day, the font desk asked how the room was, (I think they were concerned about it being cold) and offered to switch me to a windowless, smaller room, which would be warmer. Unfortunately, there were bed bugs that bit me a few times both nights, on my hands, back, and neck. I wish I were a more confrontational person and let the front desk know... Next time if this issue arises I will tell the hotel. Other than the issues mentioned above, the room was lovely, free of smells and the bathroom had all amenities, and they offer free toothbrush and toothpaste at the service counter if you need them. There's a working mini fridge, and the location is ideal, right in the centre of a cultural immersion tourist street where there are food shops and souvenir stores outside. Also, the staff are very helpful, and aided with making an online reservation for me to go to Tiananmen Square for the flag raising ceremony (everything must be done online, and they helped read out the Chinese words that I don't know).

To be honest, after reading the reviews before checking in, I was still worried about this hotel because of the smelly sewers. I'm afraid the air conditioner won't heat up. But after moving in, all these worries disappeared! The room was very clean and the air conditioner was super hot! ! Who can believe it? For a southerner, I have to turn off the air conditioner at night and open the windows for ventilation to feel less hot! ! It was really useless to worry about it before ~ ​​and the location of the hotel is really good. It's very close to Qianmen, Dashilar and the fresh fish mouth! It’s also very convenient to take Metro Line 8!

location location location !!! excellent location !!! It's a 30-second walk to the hotel from the subway exit, and you can see the hotel from the subway exit. The staff were very kind, the staff even asked me if I was dressed warmly enough. You don’t have to worry about staying here, eating or shopping, all in 1 min.

Bathroom/shower stalls need to be cleaned THOROUGHLY of grim/stains and MOULDS! Which are not only unsightly but pose a danger to health! This is for ALL rooms! Water from shower stalls do not drain well due to poor construction gradient of shower floor. Check in smooth and although booked a room on 2/3rd floors, was given one on 4th floor accessible through an external door on 3rd fl through 2 flights of stairs and to the outside, certainly unsuitable for any older persons! Was subsequently given one on 3rd for subsequent nights. Poor room layouts, no storage space/hooks for clothes, no fridge and dismal lighting. Architect/designer has much to learn about room layouts etc before embarking on further hotel designs! Breakfast was ample/adequate but could have some different varieties each day for those who stay longer. This could have been an innovative arty hotel which the Owner has in mind but for the above. Saving grace was the front desk staff who were most helpful and special mention should be made of Helen, Owen, Jake and Vivian.

I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

The location is quite good, the whole street is bought and eaten, equivalent to Nanjing Road in Shanghai! Stayed for 4 nights in total! In the morning, I went to Tiananmen Square to see the flag raising, went out and turned left, crossed a road and then walked to the end of the square. Be sure to cross the road and go to the square! Hygienic: Can't say unclean, but some details are not in place! Service: Very good, the front desk and the cleaning aunt are very good, the room is very clean at night, the family room mineral water 4 bottles a day! Our room has windows on the road but is not noisy, and the corridor is soundproofed! In addition, this hotel air conditioning gives full marks 💯, fried chicken is warm, the highest temperature in Beijing for 5 days is 0 degrees, and the wife who sleeps at night is comfortable! Next time I have the opportunity to come to Beijing, I will continue to choose here!

I will definitely stay here next time. Price is paid for the location. It's really convenient to go anywhere. Cycling > Walking > Calling a taxi. Even so, with my baby, I still kept calling for a taxi...but the walking time is really about the same as the time of calling a taxi~~~~ There are so many internet celebrities around. convenient!

My stay at the Beijing Tiananmen Qianmen Street Manxin Hotel was truly exceptional. The location couldn't have been better – nestled in the heart of the city, right on Qianmen Street, it provided easy access to various attractions and vibrant cultural spots. A special thank to the tall gentleman on staff, whose kind assistance in securing a taxi to the airport and ensuring my safe departure was truly remarkable. Their commitment to exceptional service made my stay both memorable and stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic accommodations, outstanding customer service, and unbeatable location.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main attractions in Beijing: Temple of Heaven, Tianmen Square and the Forbidden City were easy to reach on foot or via subway. The courtyard is stunning and I loved the ambience by day and night. The room was very small but I only needed it for sleeping and showering anyway, so that was fine for me. I would book there again, when I return to Beijing.

Aircon didn't work, have to suffer in a stuffy environment for 3 days. Was told that the aircon system broke down for awhile and they didn't fix it. No daily clean up service provided, items in the room were not changed although cleaning was provided. No solution to the problem was provided by the hotel, had to do everything by yourself. Location was good 3 mins from the subway although entering the street can be troublesome as there is a security counter at the entrance of street and had to use passport to enter.
