We arrived and they already had our booking confirmation ready, We were greeted by friendly staff and booked in quite quickly as booking in foreigners is so much paperwork. The hotel is really the most beautiful authentic Chinese hotel I have been at. We had to look for it first as it is a bit hidden the staff around the hotel was so friendly the security took us right to the reception area. The scenic area around the hotel are well maintained and really calming after a day out in the buzzing Beijing coming back to the hotel is really a good feeling. The only thing was there was no fridge in the room, so could not keep our water and drinks cold as it was really hot out there.

The location is very convenient not very crowded there are two subway stations near the hotel ZAOYING and Liangmaqiao. The famous Solana Mall, restaurants and cafes are all around just couple of steps from the hotel. The hotel was clean, the staff is friendly and helpful a little bit old furnished but it was ok. I would suggest to renovate the bathroom. I recommend this hotel

The service was good and room was clean. All amenities worked as expected. The receptionist helped with an upgrade and extra water bottle. The cleaning staff helped with extra sleepers. The taps had good water pressure and temperature control. The only thing I would improve is make the elevator easier to use. The button for 6th floor seemed weirdly placed and I couldn’t find it in first glance, also the board outside the elevator do not display the floor numbers with hotel rooms, like 6th floor. Visited on August 2023. Stayed for 4nights. Location is not ideal. Its 15-30mins walk to either train stations. No straight path. Nearest shopping mall of any repute is 25mins walk away. Good thing is its vlose to a row of economical eateries that serves a wide variety of cuisines: from local to European. Convenient stores and massage spas nearby. Reception staff is generally polite and professional. Their command of English is not strong, but they tried to be as helpful as possible. They always booked my car rides for me when I asked them to. Pet friendly hotel..i cane across a few dogs going to the rooms. One of them is huge mixed. Room is spacious with lots of storage spaces. Fittings are a bit dated. They are undergoing scheduled renovations, so hopefully it will be better. Housekeeping staff are polite, but expect very little English. Gym: air-conditioning control is not working. The equipment is old. There's a cat den right outside the window tho..so if you are a cat lover, there's lots of purry little ones playing in the garden space outside. Cafe: its converted from one of the rooms..not a full cafe. Breakfast is whatever they have. Almost the same everyday. Toast, hard boil eggs, porridge, and a selection of cooked items.
