Hotels near Dongdan Park in Beijing

Very nice hotel in central Beijing. It has a nice Mongolian theme. There is a Mongolian restaurant in the hotel where you can get dinner while watching performances. The room is nicely equipped. My only gripe is that the rooms are very hot (26-27 C), and there's no way to cool it down, even with ”max AC”. The hotel employees are nice -- the cleaning folks said hi to us every morning, left us a small present and hand written note each day, and said goodbye to us on the way out. I liked the very personalized experience. The location is easy to access the Beijing metro (multiple lines).

Its CLEAN. Tourist friendly staff and they can speak english. The hotel is just infront of Beijing hospital. MRT accessible as the Chongwenmen station is just across. It is also close to affordable local restaurants. The famous Wangfungjing St. is just 2 stations away but you need to transfer lanes. Most tourist attractions are just 2-4 stations away. Breakfast is also great at the Citrus Restaurant.

I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

Location are near to most attractions (Palace; National Museum, TianAnMen) by MRT few stations; walking distance to WangFuJing (shopping area). Room are spacious and clean, quite environment.

Hotel is great. Beds are comfortable and staff are friendly Located near to main train station but surrounding shops and mall had all closed down after CV19 (which is really sad) else its a great place beside a subway station too

The room was very clean and the bed was relatively comfortable. The pillow has a feather pillow and a rubber pillow. Directly opposite Beijing Station and close to the subway entrance, traveling is very convenient. It feels like the nearby hotels are more comfortable. The curtains are also very good at blocking out light and are suitable for sleeping. It's just that the opening and closing of the bathroom door is not ideal and blocks the sink.

The room is very clean and quiet, but a bit small. It's close to the subway station. There are supermarkets and restaurants where you can go out to eat. Rooms are expensive during summer vacation, so it's pretty good at this location. The air conditioning is also very comfortable. The freezer at the front desk can be kept cold. The waiter is very enthusiastic. On the last day, he stayed for 3 more hours and only charged 40 yuan.

The hotel is in an alley, not a courtyard house. Overall, it can be given a pass mark. It's OK for one person to live in. The room is very small and it's a bit difficult to put suitcases in it. The overall hygiene is okay, and the toilet is smart. Since I traveled during off-peak hours and didn't have many stays, I didn't encounter any noise or lack of hot water. Look carefully, the hotel reservation cannot be cancelled, the reservation cannot be cancelled, (the reservation cannot be cancelled) say three times. The location is between Dongdan Subway Station and Beijing Subway Station. The embarrassing thing is that it takes about ten minutes to walk to both stations by subway. Fortunately, the car can also drive to the alley. It costs about ten yuan to go to Tiananmen, so it is better for two people to take a taxi. When I first looked at the map, I thought there were many food markets and snack bars in the old residential area, but it turned out there were not. There was only a small supermarket and a halal restaurant. Then I ordered takeout, and check-in and check-out were very quick. The above is for reference.

Excellent hotel with spacious room and comfortable beds. The people working there are very friendly. The hotel is located in the center of Beijing and only a couple of minutes from the subway. Great hotel to stay while visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!

It's good hotel very clean and the bed is so great very comfortable, they have everything so convenient for living. And the officer are good, they can help me even they can't speak English, they are kind. And the location of the hotel are great..near the subway (two stations), near the park, near the mall and the spacial thing is near the restaurant (few restaurants next to the hotel and the price good and good teast)
