Radisson Hotel Beijing Daxing Airport

The room is nice and spacious. There is a huge, comfortable bed and soft towels. Complimentary amenities in the room include four small bottles of water, Cola, Sprite, and Schweppes, as well as cookies and two mandarins. The room is also equipped with a kettle and tea bags. A free shuttle runs to and from the airport every 30 minutes, which is very convenient. The drive to and from the airport takes no more than 10 minutes. Cons: * The lobby and the restaurant are very cold, while the room feels stuffy. The staff walk through the corridors wearing down jackets. * The air conditioner in the room works only for heating due to the winter season, so it’s not possible to adjust the temperature. The windows in the room cannot be opened. * There is a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the common areas of the hotel. One of my friend’s rooms had a terrible tobacco smell, even though we requested a non-smoking room, and we eventually had to change rooms. * Tea is offered in the hotel lobby, but it is served from a large container with Lipton tea bags, which feels quite cheap for a hotel of this level. * I didn’t like the food at breakfast, but this may be a country-specific issue

Booked this for an early flight out. We were rather surprised with how lux the hotel look and feel. Was warmly welcomed by the staff there and helping with the luggage. Reception staff(sorry didn't get his name) was very friendly and offered a free room upgrade, he patiently explained in detail about the shuttle service to airport and even help to suggest what time i should be down to the lobby accordingly to my flight time. I'm really very pleased with the service. Room was excellent and facing the airport. Upgraded room had a long sofa by the window which comfortably cater to our need of resting in our own space. If the only thing i was pleased about, it would be the pillow. Was expecting a memory pillow instead of the normal pillow for better sleep. Hence i didn't really rest well. But this is all just personal. Supper was also provided and i had this cute bowl of wanton on this cold night. The kitchen staffs are equally friendly! Keep up the good customer service!
