Beijing Yaowang Hotel (Wansheng East Subway Station Branch)

The room, while not large, was exquisitely designed, especially the vanity area and the automatic curtains. The front desk lady was incredibly friendly and proactive, even empathizing with our situation and allowing us to store our luggage at the hotel for free instead of at the ridiculously expensive theme park! That would have been a huge loss otherwise. There are two shuttle buses in the morning to Universal Studios and they also pick you up in the evening, which is super convenient!

The room faces the street, has windows, had no strange odors, and the temperature was comfortable. It even had a smart toilet seat. Downsides: 1. The room door lacked an internal safety latch/deadbolt. 2. There were cockroaches in the room. 3. The security lock on the window was broken.

Not too far from the subway station, it's very quiet. However, there are no breakfast places downstairs, though there are a few restaurants, but I'm not sure when they open. The room was decent, not too small. It was clean, and there's an elevator. It has real windows.

The service was great! The owner was very welcoming, the environment was clean, and the hygiene was good. I'd definitely come back again if I need to!

Very comfortable! The morning sun shines directly into the room. There's also a free shuttle bus to Universal Studios. Facilities: Excellent, even the toilet seat is heated. Cleanliness: Very clean, couldn't find any dust. Service: You can take as many complimentary bottled waters as you need.

Great location and very noticeable entrance. The room had high ceilings. The only minor inconvenience was that we had to get the AC remote from the front desk to turn it on and off. The cleanliness was good, but the bed was the main issue. The mattress desperately needs replacing; it was too soft and the springs were poking through.

The hotel is actually 980 meters from the metro station, a 15-minute walk one way. The bathroom drain was very slow, and the housekeeper was quite rude.

Excellent value for money! This place is great, especially for the price. There's an elevator, strong air conditioning, and a free shuttle service to Universal Studios. The front desk staff are also very kind. Food delivery comes right to your door, and the toilet is smart. It's super easy to get here – just one bus stop from the subway, and a short walk. (For those new to Beijing, remember to activate the 'Yi卡通' on your Alipay for bus rides, and scan your code both when getting on and off). The smart toilet and cleanliness were definite bonuses!
