NOUS•LAND Beijing

We went to Universal Studios and saw that this hotel had a rooftop pool and direct access to the bay, so we brought the kids and stayed for two nights. It was great! Next time we go to Universal, we won't stay at the Universal Grand Hotel. At Novotel, the kids can swim and we can go shopping. The hotel's Italian restaurant is also delicious, and you can see panoramic views of Universal City while eating and swimming. The kids were happy, and so were the adults!

The room overall was great, and the breakfast was excellent. The restaurant offers a direct view of Universal Studios' Harry Potter area, which is fantastic. The pool shares the same great view. On the third floor, there's direct access to a mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. The lobby service on the first floor was very good; someone greeted us and proactively helped with our luggage. The only thing that needs improvement is that all items in the mini-bar were charged for, which is the first time I've encountered that. The bottled water in the room was in large cans, and after requesting more, they brought a small pack.

The hotel's front desk is on the 8th floor, while the ground floor seems to be used for exhibitions or wedding banquets. The ground floor itself is quite beautiful, featuring a small Gucci flower house that kids really enjoy. The room is spacious and wide, perfect for families with children, as it doesn't feel cramped. It's also relatively new and very clean, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. From the doorman to the cleaning staff, everyone's service mindset is excellent, and they respond promptly to any requests. Although there's no robot delivery service, the front desk will deliver items, and there are also **lockers. Overall, the layout is well-arranged and aesthetically pleasing, making for a very comfortable experience. From the room, you can see Universal's Harry Potter castle, and directly opposite, you can view most of Universal's facilities. The hotel's 3rd floor connects to Wangfujing Street in Wanli, so dinner options are readily available, and you can also do some shopping. Outside the mall, there's also Tingyun Town, which is worth exploring and has a beautiful exterior. The location is practically superb. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Universal. If they maintain this level of quality, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Nuolan Hotel. The environment is excellent, clean, and the Italian light luxury decor is very tasteful. My favorite part is the room's enormous floor-to-ceiling windows, offering unobstructed, panoramic views of the entire city – truly a hotel I can't get enough of, second to none. It's also subway-friendly; you don't even need to go above ground. The subway station connects directly to Wangfujing Bay and the hotel's 3rd floor, which is very convenient.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel is quiet, comfortable, clean, and convenient. The pillows were especially comfortable. It was a very pleasant experience. There's a shuttle to Universal Studios. Five-star rating!

This is a new hotel, and I usually choose to stay here. However, this time I was quite disappointed. I didn't get notified that the room was ready until 4:23 PM. I understand it's peak season, but I really hope the hygiene standards for a five-star hotel can be improved... There were very obvious hygiene issues, as shown in the pictures.

On the tail end of our holiday, we took the kids to Universal Studios Beijing. The two hotels inside the park were a bit pricey, so we opted for the Bay Holiday Inn instead, and we were very happy with our choice! The hotel offers free shuttle service to Universal Studios in the morning and evening, a quick 10-minute ride, which was super convenient! The hotel is new, clean, and the service is excellent. I loved the fragrance in the lobby. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but the quality was great! We could see the Harry Potter section from our room, and the view at night was amazing 🥰

The room was clean, but the swimming pool was not. My girlfriend swam twice and ended up with a fever the next day. She went to the hospital and was diagnosed with suppurative tonsillitis, which then led to sinusitis. It was really uncomfortable.
