The Japanese-style tatami room features various Muji products. The decor shows its age and could use some maintenance. The record player in the room is a bit old and keeps getting stuck; it's time for a new one. I personally don't like overhead showers, but the handheld one always slips off its holder, so you have to hold it the whole time.

The location is excellent, and you can faintly see Tiananmen Square from the room. It's very close to the subway station and has a distinctly Japanese style. However, I'm not sure if it's because the hotel is old or because the windows don't open, but the smell from the floor in the room wasn't pleasant (if you're sensitive to smells, be aware). The soundproofing is also very poor; you can clearly hear the taps running loudly in the next room. Luckily, I was so tired I just treated it as white noise.

The room was absolutely perfect! It wasn't a standard square design, which was such a delightful surprise when I walked in. The bathtub was great, and the bathroom itself was lovely. The shampoo and conditioner were their own brand and worked wonderfully. They even provided small Muji snacks, and there was jasmine tea in the fridge. The bed was very clean and comfortable, and all the lighting was beautiful. There was an aroma diffuser and a CD player. The service was excellent without being overbearing, making me feel right at home. Everything was just perfect!

The service was excellent! All the amenities are from Muji, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the shampoo was. I was so tired after watching the flag-raising ceremony that, even though check-out was at 12 PM, they kindly extended it for me until 2 PM free of charge. The restaurant on the 4th floor is absolutely delicious, and the photo booth is amazing! Guests get discounts on dining and shopping, which is a great perk. I'm very satisfied, and it's super convenient to walk to nearby attractions.

Check in was smooth. No deposit required. Went in April and they only had central heating system which was turn off and it was hot at 28 degrees. Could not turn on aircon either. Perspire the whole night sleeping. Gave fan the following day but fan was barely blowing too. Cleanliness was average. Toilet had a lot of black debris. Forth day the bath floor was flooded as they did not remove the hair from the drain. Water shower speed and pressure was poor. Housekeeper also threw my things left on the table. For the price, I would not recommend it. Staff was friendly and nice tho.

Very Muji-style! The room was spacious and well-equipped, and all the amenities were Muji brand. They even provided Muji snacks. The location is excellent, and the restaurant on the fourth floor offers great views. Hotel guests also receive discounts at the Muji Diner and for shopping.

Stayed here with my 13-year-old daughter. The room was very comfortable. Even though we were on the second floor and couldn't see Tiananmen Square, you could see it from the restaurant on the fourth floor. This was my second stay here, and the location is incredibly convenient, with excellent service.
