Beijing Yizhan Youth Hotel (Yansha Liangmaqiao Subway Station)

It was the most unhygienic hostel I have been to. There was piss on the floor, clogged toilets, only 2 western seats for like 100 people, not cleaned at all, even the washbasins were dirty and hand no handwashing liquid a lot of times. The common area gets full so there are no seats sometimes, there was no hot water in dispenser. They provide no towel, most days there was no shower gel and shampoo. Highly not recommended if you can pay higher for better experience elsewhere.

Good location, closed to subway. Small space for luggage release ing area, clean bedroom with spotless pillow cover and blanket.

Check-in was smooth even though the staff didn’t speak English there was this machine that translated everything real time. Pretty convenient and I wish other places had this as well. The room was a bit small but we managed to fit more than 6 suitcases in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the locker was pretty spacious. I just wish there was a usb/usbc outlets as well. If you need to wash your clothes, the washer machine is free to use. The common space was nice and comfortable and had a lot of power outlet, very useful . The downside was the bathroom. It was almost always messy and sometimes dirty. I don’t know why but the sink was always dripping water so there was no space for us to put our things. I suggest putting a tray. I felt that the bathroom and the shower room could use of more cleaning with a bigger frequency.

Staff were approachable and professional, always ready to help without being intrusive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any questions I had were handled efficiently. The amenities added another layer of enjoyment. Whether it was the well-maintained fitness center, the relaxing pool area, or the on-site dining options, everything felt thoughtfully curated and easy to access. The restaurant in particular stood out, offering a menu that was both varied and well-executed. If there’s one minor drawback, it would be that some services came at a premium price, but the overall quality made it feel justified. Overall, this hotel delivered a comfortable, polished experience that I would happily return to. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a restful stay with a touch of understated luxury.
