Overall, it was a great stay with some rough edges. The room was spacious (compared to similarly-priced lodging in Beijing). Cleanliness can be improved. Wifi was fast. As usual, “Beijing Drunk Inn” in the name was merely a suggestion; the actual name is something else (check the Mandarin spelling in your trip.com’s booking). Things got pretty noisy right now as they are doing renovation. Hot shower worked very well as it uses proper hot water tank. Owner was friendly and always provided us with boiled water (as the room did not come with its own kettle). Only once we ate ‘breakfast’ cooked by the owner as we were charged ¥66 for small amount of omelette and eggplant (sorry, that was just a rip-off). Decided to eat outside since then. Overall, pleasant stay for access to various great walls around the area (Panlongshan, Jinshanling, Simatai).

When you book this place you will have a family experience. We stayed a couple of nights and felt welcome and taken care about. The landlady will cook for you anytime, if needed. Currently this place is undergoing some major renovations and we are sure that after the upgrading is done it will look fabulous.

Not an hotel you stay at someone’s it’s very very very basic

The room could have been cleaner. The location was farther than we expected from the Goubeikou Great Wall. The room wasn't heated. It could have been better.

I just needed to sleep somewhere one night, and this place offered me a great shelter. It accepts foreigners, and is friendly with last-minute reservations (I booked it 2 hours before arriving at 10pm). The hosts don’t speak English but very kind and welcoming. The room is spacious and pretty comfortable, but lacks some maintenance. But, I was so tired that I didn’t care much about it.

Great location at the foot of the Great Wall. Excellent food. Unfortunately very basic and dirty room for a not so low price. The other rooms are perhaps better kept than the family room? Too bad because the configuration with 2 very large beds is perfect for a family with 2 children. Bathroom much too basic for the price too.

Room that is very suitable for hiking Gubeikou - Jinshanling for sunrise. Very nice lady

The rooms in this farmhouse are not only clean and sanitary, but also very conveniently located. You can reach Panlongshan Great Wall in just a few steps from the path behind the yard. If you want to go to the Jinshanling Great Wall, it only takes ten minutes to drive, which is super fast! But the most impressive thing is the boss and his wife. They are very enthusiastic in dealing with people and make people feel like they are home. Both of them are locals and their cooking is very delicious, especially the stewed beef, stewed pork ribs, egg fried rice and homemade cakes, each of which is unforgettable. I came here a few years ago. At that time, the boss's daughter was still a little girl of about ten years old. In the blink of an eye, she has grown up now. Time flies! Overall, at this price, this is definitely a cost-effective accommodation option. Excellent service, highly recommended to everyone!

The bed and pillows were very hard but everything else was fine.

Zuihouting Farmhouse is really a surprising place! First of all, its location close to the Gubeikou Great Wall makes it very convenient for tourists to visit this world-famous historical site. From the moment I stepped here, I was deeply attracted by its unique charm. The environment here is beautiful and the air is fresh. The boss lady is very hospitable and very nice. You can feel their care in every little detail. The food was my favorite part, every dish was fresh and delicious, a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. At night, the night view of the farmyard is even more mesmerizing, and the dots of lights look particularly charming in the quiet night. I sincerely recommend everyone who travels around here to experience Zuihouting Farmhouse. I believe that you will leave unforgettable memories just like me.
