This is an old Siheyuan (courtyard house) renovation, with a small platform on the second floor. It's in a great location and very comfortable to stay in.

Great value for money! The hotel rooms are clean and hygienic, the staff provides excellent service, and the hotel environment is very pleasant.

Well located hotel within walking distance to Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Friendly and helpful staff who offered me a second duvet to keep me warm at night. Hot shower with excellent water pressure. Quiet at night. Great value for money!

Very good location to go forbidden city Tiananmen Square and Line 8 QianYuHuTong Subway. Not good when we are housed to room 107 for 7 nights which is at the back yard outside the main hall. The room is very noisy as hotel guests are stepping very hard when accessing the metal stairs just right outside the room. The shower area is very slippery maybe due to soap stains not washed regularly. There is also no shower screen and water can run outside shower area and wet the whole toilet. 👎

Everything was according to expectations, clean and beatiful

The room had bunk beds, and while it wasn't huge, it was clean and tidy. The location is great, very close to the Forbidden City, and you can walk to many places from here. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly; they helped us with our luggage and even gave us a souvenir when we left. A special thank you to them! 🙏

The hotel has an excellent location, it's a renovated old house with a lot of Old Beijing charm. The front desk service was very warm and accommodating. There's also a cafe on the ground floor. It's very close to Wangfujing.

Amazing hotel. Very conviniemt location, you can walk to Wangfu Century to rent traidtional cloting, then walk to Forbidden Palace and Zhongshan Park. The hotel is clean and nice. My family and I had a great time.

Decent stay in a convenient location The hotel had everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were kind, and the location made it easy to get around the city. Overall, it was a practical choice for the price.

The hotel is a traditional courtyard mansion which seemingly has been converted into a hotel. Its old architectural design and layout will likely appeal to those who would like to be transported back into time in "Old" Beijing. The property is conveniently located within 10 minutes walk to The Forbiden City, Wangfujing Street and Jinyu Hutong Subway Station. It is two (2) stations to Qiangmen Subway Station from Jinyu Hutong Subway Station (Line 8) via transfer at Wangfujing Station (Line 2). Our room, Room 205 on the 2nd Floor, is very spacious with a comfortable and spacious ensuite bathroom (the bathroom could have been more spacious if not for the slanting ceiling). The room is clean and the bed very comfortable while the aircond does its job efficiently in cooling the room during our stay from June 5 - June 9, 2025 even with soaring temperatures outside. Staffs at the hotel are very friendly and helpful ESPECIALLY the LADY who manned the front office / reception at night to early morning during our stay at the hotel. My wife and I really enjoyed our conversations with her. The male staff who manned the front office / reception on the morning of June 8 and the lady on the day we checked out on June 9 were also very friendly and helpful. An open-air terrace on the 2nd floor allows hotel guests to order food deliveries and have their meals there. Guests can wash their clothes and hang it out to dry on the open-air terrace. Although the hotel does not have an in-house restaurant, there is a very nice cafe, Sugar Cafe, on the ground floor / Level 1 that serves very nice coffee and cakes. Simple bites like pizza is available too. Within a 5 minutes walk from the hotel are many restaurants / eateries, convenience / grocery stores. The famous Siji Minfu Peking Duck Restaurant is within a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Guests can get a Queue No., walk back to the hotel to rest and freshen up before returning to the restaurant 2 hours later. Our stay would have have been further enhanced if the Management could install towel rails / clothing hooks in the bathroom, more clothing hooks in the room and complimentary Chinese tea / coffee in the room. My wife and I would love to stay at the hotel if we visit Beijing again.
