Beijing HWA Hotel

Website mentions an indoor swimming pool, but there was no swimming pool available when we asked the front desk. We booked the family suite and it came with a total of 4 bedrooms (each with a queen bed), 2 toilets (with WC) and 2 bathrooms (shower with WC). Rooms were clean and hotel was conveniently located to Xidan Train Station. The hotel shares the building with the shopping mall that has a McDonald's and plenty of restaurants at the 7th and 8th floor.

Really like the location of the hotel, very convenient for getting around and for food. It is near the major subway station, where you can catch the Line 1 and Line 2 trains. There are multiple shopping centers near the hotel, within these shopping centers there are tons of choices of restaurants, some are open late in the evenings and some are famous chain restaurants, we found a few we really like. A couple minutes away is a local deli type restaurant, serving local breakfast. We ate there everyday for all the 5 days during our stay. The service at the hotel was excellent, everyone is eager to help and responsive. The room is clean and refreshing, waiting for us to relax after a long day sightseeing. The hotel room is quite and spacious, with separate bedroom, kitchen and general sitting area. Got a good view of the roof top garden from both of the windows. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Easy to go around, large rooms, clean bedlinen but furnitures are very old
