Le Joy Hotel

The water glass was dirty, with droplets inside and a strong smell of a foul-smelling rag. When I opened the door during my stay, I found a long nail sticking out of the lock, which injured my hand. Items requested for the room never arrived and were sent to the wrong room. The air conditioning was extremely noisy; the hotel even provided earplugs. It was very loud when on, and the world became quiet after turning it off, but then it got hot. The overall management is poor, comparable to an old, outdated all-season hotel.

I had a very satisfying stay! Front office manager 'Xiao Shen' contacted me in advance to confirm my booking and even upgraded my room. Upon arrival, drinks were already prepared, which was a really thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is super convenient, directly opposite Xidan Gengxin Plaza, which I highly recommend to all my 'WMLS' (fans/followers)! Public transportation and the subway are easily accessible. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in town.

The hotel service was incredibly thoughtful, and the surrounding amenities were excellent. The room was spacious and new, and they even gave a small gift to my child during our stay. The mattress was very comfortable, and the location is superb. Definitely worth staying here again.

My trip to Beijing was made so much more comfortable this time, thanks to finding such a great hotel. The day before arrival, the front desk manager, Xiao Shen, called to confirm my itinerary and thoughtfully arranged an upgrade. They even pre-assigned a room, so check-in was incredibly smooth as soon as I arrived. The room was spacious with a high floor offering a great view. Any requests I had for Xiao Shen were addressed immediately. During the holiday period, they also provided complimentary drinks and arranged for a late check-out, which really added to the pleasantness of my trip. The hotel is conveniently located in Xidan Joy City, making travel easy with plenty of surrounding malls. It was also great for morning runs. My only minor regret was that the door connecting to the mall was closed during the holiday, meaning a slight detour to get to the subway station. Overall, the hotel facilities are good, though one of the elevators on the side undergoing maintenance had an unresponsive card reader and the floor lights would occasionally go out. However, these minor flaws didn't detract from the overall stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.

Taking advantage of the May Day holiday, I brought my parents and child to Beijing. Considering convenience for travel and dining, I ultimately chose the Joy City Hotel Xidan. Due to a tight schedule, I dropped off our luggage at the front desk early on April 26th and headed out with my family to explore. Around 11 AM, I received a call from Shen at the hotel front desk. She kindly confirmed the number of guests and our estimated arrival time. Upon learning we had seniors and a child with us, she arranged connecting rooms on the same floor and even prepared a check-in guide for us. Throughout our subsequent 4-night, 5-day stay, Shen meticulously asked if we needed cleaning services or replenishment of supplies. I'm truly grateful for her attentive care. I will definitely choose Joy City Hotel again on my next visit to Beijing.
