The service was amazing! We got offer for late checkout by trip(as a gift) and the hotelier was even kinder to let us. Room was super nice with a bidet (major bonus!) Definitely a keeper! Will come again to this hotel when we’ll come back to beijing!

The hotel is ideally located, about a 10-minute walk from the East Gate of the Forbidden City and just a 2-3 minute walk from Metro Line 8. It's surrounded by many shopping streets, making it a prime spot. The hotel's hygiene facilities are good, and the owner provides warm and thoughtful service. We stayed for four nights in a row, and when our original room couldn't cast to the TV, they immediately upgraded us to a larger room free of charge. That was very considerate.

This is my second stay at Manxin. The location is unbeatable – it's a 5-minute walk to the Line 8 subway station, and right next door to Siji Minfu. Wangfujing is also very close by. The room was quiet, and takeaways can be delivered right to your door by a robot.

I booked this hotel for its convenient location, and it certainly didn't disappoint! There's a bus stop right outside, and the subway entrance is only about 100-200 meters away. Plus, it's next to Tong Ren Tang and super close to the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. The service was also incredibly warm; they even brought me a hot chrysanthemum tea when I came back from a concert, which was so thoughtful! The breakfast was delicious, and I especially loved their flavorful cold dishes. Unfortunately, the TV had no signal due to a wiring issue, and I accidentally booked a room without a window, ugh! Oh, and they gave me some small pastries when I checked out, which was a nice surprise!

While there was an initial misunderstanding due to a hygiene concern which caused distress on our first night stay that I had to escalate the matter through Trip.com, the hotel manager turned the experience around. The night before check-out, we had a genuine and positive conversation at the lobby. She was humble and openly acknowledged her shortcomings and appreciated for helping her learn and grow as a leader. Good to know that a manager willing to take accountability and desire to improve. Every hotel staff we have interacted with are professional and friendly. Aside from the good service recovery, we loved the hotel's convenience: 1. Siji Minfu Peking Roast Duck Restaurant (四季民福) is next to the hotel along with other food options in the same stretch. 2. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street (shopping and food). 3. The fun robot that delivers food right to our doorstep! The hotel also prepared light snacks for our airport journey. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!
