Capital Airport International Hotel

The room was in an unacceptable condition—filthy, as if it had never been cleaned. Dust covered surfaces, and there were unidentified liquids throughout. The bathroom floor was sticky, and the bed sheets were visibly soiled. Although the hotel is located near the former Terminal 1 of Beijing Capital Airport (PEK), that terminal is no longer in operation, making the walk to the hotel quite an adventure—especially with limited signage and poor accessibility. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately unable to resolve the issue, as the alternative room they offered was just as dirty. In hindsight, spending the night in the terminal itself might have been a more pleasant experience.

We stayed at this hotel recently and had a good experience overall. A few tips for future guests: if you want to use the airport shuttle, make sure to contact the hotel in advance. Otherwise, taking a taxi is very easy. It costs us 22 Yuan, and you can pay either in cash or with Alipay. The hotel has been newly furnished, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. For me, the bed was comfortable, though my friend found it a bit too firm. A lovely extra touch is that, as is common in China, the hotel offers complimentary laundry facilities – soap is provided and you can wash your clothes for free, which is very convenient for travellers. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay with practical amenities at a fair price.

Cheap but safe. Walk from airport ok but stick to paths. Slept well and staff were nice. Seen some other reviews that are critical but in my experience you be nice to them and they are usually nice to you.

The hotel offers excellent discounts, making it a great place to spend time before or after your flight. The free hourly airport shuttle is just the icing on the cake.
