Shangri-La Shougang Park, Beijing

I spontaneously decided to take my child on a trip and stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel. First, let's get to the conclusion: the hotel's environment and facilities are excellent. The indoor children's entertainment facilities and outdoor water play areas are fantastic. Dining is convenient, with plenty of delicious food and even baby food, which is great for families with children. However, the room interior was just average and rather ordinary, and the soundproofing was mediocre, leaving much room for improvement. Facilities: To support the 2022 Winter Olympics, the hotel was built in 2021 and is located in Shougang Park, converted from an old factory building. The front desk is on the third floor, while the first and second floors primarily house restaurants and banquet halls. The combination of industrial and natural styles is very creative overall. However, the rooms are quite ordinary and unremarkable. In response to energy conservation and environmental protection, the hotel does not provide bottled water or other beverages. Children's amenities need to be requested separately from the hotel front desk. Hygiene: Overall, the hygiene was good, and the room was quite clean. However, there was some mold in the room I stayed in, which I recommend addressing promptly. Environment: On the first floor, there's the Bud Garden and outdoor water play facilities, making it great for families with children. I recommend going early at 10 AM or after 6 PM, when there are fewer people. Special thanks to the staff at Bud Garden for their politeness and strong service awareness. The surrounding Shougang Park has a beautiful environment and offers many activities. Service: The food is excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. The Power Plant Bar offers the most beautiful moments in the evening.

Extremely satisfied! I bring my child here for an overnight stay every now and then. We get to enjoy Shougang Park and Yabao Paradise, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful.

The environment is fantastic, with lush greenery everywhere. The room was fragrant and absolutely beautiful! The service was also very nice; the staff were efficient and enthusiastic. Overall, I'm quite satisfied! The only minor drawback: no bottled water, which was a bit inconvenient.

Great stay! The power plant (referring to the hotel's perhaps unique or powerful vibe/service, or maybe a specific feature) was also good. Bao Bao is very professional and provides excellent service. I highly recommend seeking her out when you visit.

The room condition was quite satisfactory, clean and quiet. However, upon check-in, I noticed a smell similar to that of a zoo, which lingered until check-out. Overall, the hotel service was good, but the cafe's ordering service needs improvement as the staff lacked initiative. The swimming pool was a highlight.

Shangri-La, first of all, you're a five-star hotel. The front desk staff was cold and didn't provide complete information, which they should have. I arrived after 8 PM, and there was no phone call either the day before or on the day of arrival. I tolerated the not-so-clean toilet and bathtub since I was going to disinfect them anyway. But when I wanted a drink of water and found this, I was shocked! If I hadn't looked closely, I would have thought someone had already opened it! Where is your quality control!!!

We stayed here for four nights with our family, and Yolanda at the front desk left a lasting impression. The check-in process was smooth, she proactively addressed our family's needs, and patiently answered all our questions with a warm and courteous attitude. Three years later, I've returned to the Shougang Park Shangri-La Hotel, and I'm still deeply captivated by its unique balance of industrial style and vibrant greenery. We stayed in a deluxe twin room, and outside the large window was Yongding River Market. Three years ago, it was a desolate riverbank, but now it's bustling with various small shops and a riverside promenade. The room size was just right, with excellent layout and design. I particularly loved the large green table, where two people could sit facing each other, enjoying tea and coffee. It provided a pleasant and comfortable retreat on hot afternoons when going out wasn't ideal. The service at Shangri-La is warm and professional; no matter if you're in the lobby or the elevator, the staff's thoughtful greetings are always present. Special thanks to Ms. Sun at the front desk, who, upon learning of our special requests, always responded and fulfilled them promptly, making us feel right at home. The surrounding area, with its delicious restaurants, great coffee shops, a nice cinema, and the pleasant Yongding River Market, made for a wonderful two-day holiday.

The room was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, bright, spacious, tidy, and clean. It had a special charm. We were very satisfied with the service and have decided to come back again. The location is also convenient for transportation, making it easy to get around!
