THE YARD HOTEL BEIJING, Tian'anmen Square

This hotel is in an amazing location! Right across the road from Tian'amen Square, conveniently located near a subway station (very easy to use,) and lots of amazing shopping and delicious food! This hotel offers a more traditional feeling and experience, which I loved. Staying here made my weekend in Beijing very easy! If you stay here, you MUST try 77' Beer Girl! I will miss the raspberry beer!

The location was perfect, the hotel staff were kind and very helpful when we had questions. The room was clean and comfortable. They even offered free calligraphy and stone printing. I would recommend staying

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) The Yard Hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Qianmen Street and several metro stations. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was good, and the room was generally clean. Unfortunately, the hotel has a noticeable maintenance problem. The bathroom needed attention: there was mould and rust around the shower, stained silicone, limescale on the bathtub fittings, and some worn finishes that detracted from the overall impression. These are details that should be addressed in a hotel of this standard. Another disappointment was the reception service. We needed assistance with transportation and local information several times, but the staff were not particularly helpful or proactive. International travellers often depend on the reception team, and a , more customer-oriented attitude would have improved our stay. Overall, The Yard Hotel is a good choice because of its excellent location and comfortable rooms. However, better maintenance and more attentive reception service would make it a much better hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived until we checked out, everyone made us feel so welcome and well looked after. The staff at reception were incredibly kind and helpful. One day I had trouble using the washing machines, and one of the receptionists came with me and helped fix the problem. I really appreciated his kindness and willingness to help. The housekeeping team was excellent. Our room was cleaned every day, even if we went out later than usual. Every day they also left us two complimentary bottles of water, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The room itself was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and we felt at home from the very first day. We also loved the cultural activities the hotel offered. They were a wonderful way to experience Chinese culture and made our stay even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness, excellent service, and hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing! 🇨🇳❤️✨
