Since I was in Beijing, I definitely wanted to experience a traditional courtyard home! Hidden amongst the winding hutongs of Old Beijing, behind a grand red gate, was this charming, antique-style courtyard. With its grey bricks and dark tiles, complemented by elegant Chinese decor, the hotel also offers free Hanfu experiences. You can take beautiful photos anywhere in the courtyard. The nine-grid breakfast and the simple 'zhajiangmian' (fried sauce noodles) were both excellent. It's a peaceful oasis right by Tiananmen Square, making commuting around very convenient.

On the last day of our Beijing trip, experiencing a siheyuan (quadrangle courtyard) was a must to leave with no regrets. During our stay, we met many foreign tourists and truly understood why they are so captivated by Beijing's hutongs and courtyards. With their blue bricks and grey tiles, these ancient courtyards offer a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, a refreshing change from the cookie-cutter chain hotels. Our child also absolutely loved the courtyard atmosphere, getting an immersive feel for the unique courtyard culture of old Beijing. The location is excellent, making it convenient to visit Tiananmen Square and Qianmen. The rooms have been renovated to be clean and comfortable, and the service was prompt. It was a truly rare and wonderful experience staying in Beijing, highly recommended for anyone visiting the city.

I booked a 'siheyuan' (courtyard house) hotel for my trip to Beijing 🏡 to experience what it's like to live in a 'hutong' (alleyway) like a local. The best part is it's super close to Tiananmen Square 🚏 only 1.6 kilometers away!! It's also a 'san jin' (three-courtyard) siheyuan 😯 In ancient times, only officials and wealthy merchants could afford to live in one, and I never thought I'd get to enjoy it too 🥰 The highlight is 🌟 there's a free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) experience, and the courtyard itself is incredibly beautiful, perfect for photos 📸. Free breakfast and afternoon tea are included, featuring delicious Beijing specialty snacks. Right outside is a snack street frequented by locals, and you can even order Mixue Bingcheng (a popular beverage chain) to the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. The service and environment are also excellent 👍. If I went out, they even helped hang my clothes that were in the washing machine.

Our first stop in Beijing was a wonderful surprise! The quadrangle courtyard was so unique and gave me an immersive taste of old Beijing's charm. First off, the location is great, making it super convenient to get around. Plus, the welcome fruit and Old Beijing Noodles with Fried Bean Sauce were delicious. You can even enjoy a free traditional costume experience here. It's a great place to stay and have fun!

Autumn in Beijing is simply stunning, and I really needed to clear my head here. I absolutely love this place! Beijing's hutongs always make you feel like a kid again. The hotel's ambiance is wonderfully old-fashioned and charming, a feeling you just don't get at other places. The service is warm and friendly; no matter the hour, there's always a door waiting for you to come home. The breakfast is also quite substantial.

This place's location is truly excellent. It's right on Yangmeizhu Xiejie, which is super popular right now, and the subway station is within walking distance. It's also very close to Tiananmen Square and Qianmen. The service is great too; they offer welcome fruits, and even Zhajiangmian for lunch. Breakfast is quite good, and the pea cake is absolutely delicious. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a wonderful old Beijing charm. The courtyard is incredibly picturesque, perfect for photos, so you don't even need to go to crowded tourist spots.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise and made my trip truly unforgettable. Staying here felt like being a 'princess' in old Beijing. The courtyard scenery is beautiful, and upon check-in, I received welcome fruits and authentic Zhajiangmian. The breakfast platter also featured local Beijing snacks. The mattress was so soft and comfortable for my back. All the facilities are of high quality.

This is a real old Beijing courtyard house located in a hutong. You can bike to Tiananmen Square in about 10 minutes using a shared bicycle. The surrounding hutongs also have many interesting little shops and art galleries, where you can meet many traditional Beijing artisans. Although the courtyard is small, it has everything you need, offering a natural sense of tranquility. We had a pretty good night's sleep, and breakfast is served in the morning, including their homemade Zhajiangmian. The upstairs breakfast area was a pleasant surprise, filled with flowers and grapevines. It's truly a quiet oasis in the bustling city. You can feel the owners' dedication in managing this courtyard. If you're planning to visit Tiananmen Square or the Forbidden City, I highly recommend it; its proximity saves a lot of time.
