Jing Xi Shang An Hotel (Beijing Chang'an Avenue Shang'an Metro Station Branch)

The decor is light-toned, and the moment I opened the door, it felt incredibly clean. The front desk staff were always ready to answer any questions, providing excellent service. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless. I highly recommend this hotel for out-of-town tourists and business travelers. I will definitely stay here again on my next business trip and will recommend it to other colleagues visiting Beijing.

The breakfast downstairs was great, the service attitude was good, the accommodation environment was nice, and the facilities were new. I really loved the Xiao Du smart device, it's top-notch. However, the room cleaning on the second day was not thorough; the duvet was quite wrinkled, and the pillow that fell on the floor wasn't picked up.

This hotel stay really exceeded my expectations! The Venice painting on the wall was my favorite, and the black and white swan ornaments were quite exquisite. Even the towels had the hotel logo printed on them – you could feel the thoughtfulness everywhere. The mini-fridge was clean and sparkling, perfect for chilling drinks anytime, which was a very nice touch. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent; I slept soundly until morning. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town.

I'm not exaggerating, this place is genuinely amazing! It's just a short walk to the shopping district and the subway. But that's not even the best part – their service attitude is excellent, and the overall environment is stunning. I honestly think the accommodations are even better than advertised in the pictures; I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. Once you're inside, you won't want to leave, it's so picturesque. Everything, including the bathrooms, is incredibly clean. They even provide branded, disposable items for a fee, like the Durex products. If you forget your own bed linen, they have sets available for purchase. What I really loved is that the actual environment is much better than the promotional photos. I even left something behind, and they called me right away, specifying the date and room number where my pajama bottoms were found – so thoughtful! They also have dedicated parking, which is great for out-of-town guests, and it's super convenient for taking the subway. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

The worst hotel stay of my life! I had already arranged a late check-out with the front desk, and while I was still using the room, the front desk actually gave a key card to my room to another guest. A stranger just opened the door and walked right in, which completely freaked me out on the spot. A guest room is supposed to be a safe and private space, but this hotel can't even manage basic key card security. They clearly have no regard for their guests' personal safety. What if someone had walked in in the middle of the night? With such a major blunder from the hotel front desk, I really have to wonder if it's even worth staying here.

I visited Beijing during the winter break to see a friend. The room offered incredible value for money; the price was low, but the quality felt like a star-rated hotel. The lobby had a wide variety of books available for guests to borrow, and the toiletries and slippers in the room were very comfortable – even more so than those in some well-known brand hotels I've stayed at before. Watching movies on the large projection screen was a fantastic experience, and the room even came with a fully automatic washing machine, which is much more convenient than a typical hotel's communal laundry room. Highly recommend!
