Pros: 1. Underfloor heating, the room was a warm 23 degrees Celsius upon entry. 2. Breakfast included. 3. Can watch the sunset over the mountains. 4. Overall great value for money and excellent service. Cons: It's a bit far from the attractions, but thankfully the owner offers pick-up and drop-off services. If you enjoy hiking, you can walk from the attractions, and viewing the attractions from outside offers a unique perspective.

Absolutely recommended, Great host, room is vey close to the Gubei water town, Its not inside the water town, 2 minutes walk to the entrance. so you have to pay for the entrance, and also have to buy the ticket to the great wall. But still cheaper to do that way and room is greatly worth the price that we paid. Love to stay there again. Tips : visit water town in the morning using the one day 1 time pass, go to the great wall before 2pm, come back to the water town 4:30pm, and roam around the town for couple of hours. Dont miss drone show, water fountain show, snd great performances by talented stunt crew. Be prepared to spend all day in great wall and Gubei town combined.

The room is quite convenient if you are visiting the Gubei Water Town. It is located inside a condo at just 3 min on foot. Clean and with all you need for a couple of days: stove, microwave, fridge & sink. Customer support is also super responsive. Bear in mind that if you leave the water town, you will not be able to get inside again, so my 5cents here: leave your belongings for free at water town Gubei ancient city and pick them up once you are done with your visit. I strongly recommend taking the boat minutes before the sunset and enjoy the city during the night since there are many shows (fountain, square,..)

It was my first time visiting Gubei Water Town, combining a business trip with a family getaway. The owner was incredibly thoughtful; hearing we had two young children, they proactively upgraded our room and even arranged a car to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The decor was cozy and clean, and the room was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a TV, air conditioning, microwave, and refrigerator. From our room, we had a view of the Simatai Great Wall. The owner was very accommodating and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Overall, the value for money was excellent.
