The room is spacious and comfortable, with floor heating and air conditioning at night, so it's not cold at all. The small courtyard is suitable for family gatherings to have skewers and afternoon tea. It is very suitable for family travel. The three families have their own separate bathrooms and have good privacy. The surrounding Shixia Guanming Great Wall takes 2 hours to hike back and forth, and the scenery is natural!

The bed is comfortable, the environment is good, and the lighting is good! Very quiet. The service guys and girls are warm, thoughtful and enthusiastic! Very good hotel🏨. This time the homestay was very pleasantly surprised. It was a blind booking, but the surrounding environment was good, the homestay was clean and hygienic, the decoration was stylish, and you could see the Great Wall on the terrace. The scenery was good and the view was wide, and the mood was comfortable. There will also be activities to make tea around the stove in the evening. Xinjiang milk tea is really delicious. The private soup pool is spacious and comfortable. I will come again next time.

Stayed 2 nights at the Commune by the Great Wall, an Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The resort is spread over a big acres of land within the Shuiguan area, also a short proximity to the renowned Badaling Great Wall. You have to reach there by car or by DiDi as there is no public transport to reach the Commune. This is a resort for those who wish to spend quality time, to seek refuge and to relax. The resort was designed by 12 individual renowned architects, each reflecting their own taste and styles, clearly demonstrated in the Communal Home you are staying. Each Communal Home consists of 5-6 rooms where you share common spaces such as Living, Dining, Kitchen and Courtyard with other fellow travellers. You will still have your own room and private bathroom similar to any other hotels or resorts. With the Communal Home, you can access these public area / communal area where often it is under utilised which is great for us. The room is immaculately adorned with the furniture styles of the Communal Home you have selected. There is Cantilever House (Red House), Terrace House, Suitcase House, Bamboo Wall, Forest House etc. My Bamboo Wall room is a little small in my opinion. The bedding is on a Tatami Platform. Bathroom is too big and it takes up too much space for the bedroom. There are limited spaces for the suitcase as we travel from afar. There is also no hook for clothing in the bathroom, no hook for the hand towel which is quite strange given that it is quite luxurious. We bought the package which includes daily breakfast for 2 with Shuiguan Great Wall Ticket and a High Tea. There is an outdoor swimming pool within the hotel and a gym. The pool is only open for 3 months during the summer months, not sure why the restrictions even though it is not a heated pool. During my visit, day time was hot and the air temperature was around 26-28 degrees. Though the water temperature may be way cooler, but if the pool is opened, we will probably take a dip. The breakfast is either a la carte or buffet depending on the hotel's occupancy rate. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel as well and the food is very good though it is on the pricey side. To move around the resort, you will either walk (depending on the location of your accommodation), it can be far away from the restaurant or the reception. You can call them for a car pick up. The driver 小宋 is a great asset to the property, so as our Housekeeper 小李(李鸿建), he was very attentive and observatory. He saw we have many medicine and supplements in the room and he gave us extra water and left us a note. Great initiative! In short, it is a very memorable stay and a very good hideaway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Zhaohua Homestay, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. They added us on WeChat a week prior to our arrival, where they promptly answered all our questions and even sent us detailed location information. This proactive communication made us feel welcomed and well-prepared for our stay. The homestay itself is just as beautiful as the pictures on their website. When we entered our room, we were immediately impressed by how cozy it felt. The temperature was perfectly set, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the room smelled clean and fresh, which was a lovely touch. One of the highlights of our stay was the hot spring water—soothing and warm, which was exactly what we needed given the unexpected snowy weather. In the evening, they kindly offered us hot milk or soup to help us unwind, and in the morning, a delicious Western breakfast with fresh orange juice was delivered right to our door. It was such a thoughtful and special touch. An added bonus was the stunning view from the courtyard, where we could see the Great Wall! The homestay is within walking distance of a less crowded area of the Great Wall, where we paid just 35 RMB per person to experience it. It was beautiful and peaceful, offering the perfect opportunity to truly admire the historic site without the usual crowds. The location itself is perfect for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The air is fresh, and at night, the stars are visible, adding to the tranquility of the area. It’s incredibly quiet, making it the ideal place to relax and recharge. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Zhaohua Homestay, and I would definitely visit again. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with exceptional service, breathtaking views, and a beautiful setting, this place is an absolute gem.

The transportation is very convenient, there is a dedicated parking space at the door, and it is monitored 24 hours a day, which is very reassuring. It is very close to the Great Wall, and there is a shuttle bus at the door to the entrance of the scenic spot for free. The service of the store is really in place, and it is available on call. Our family members who are traveling with us caught a cold, and the housekeeper went to buy medicine immediately. It is very considerate, the facilities are complete, clean, and worth recommending!

During the Spring Festival holiday, I discovered another hidden gem in a small courtyard outside Beijing. Three days and two nights wasn't enough, and I'm looking forward to visiting again when the weather warms up. ❤️ The B&B is perfectly located, in Shifo Village at the foot of the Badaling Great Wall, just over an hour's drive from the city. There are several cafes and restaurants nearby. When I first noticed it, I was worried it might be an internet-famous establishment, but upon arrival, I discovered it was even better than it looked and incredibly quiet. The room had its own private hot spring bath, and complimentary red wine and afternoon tea were provided. The photos were stunning, and I could stay there comfortably for ages. The housekeepers were warm and attentive, and the two cats who manage the property were even more charming. The breakfast was incredibly generous! Personally, I think it would have been better with more warm food in winter; the salad was a bit too cold.

This was the best hotel I stayed in during my few days in Beijing. It's just a 5-minute walk from the Great Wall shuttle bus stop, just outside the ancient city. There are many similar hotels nearby. The decor is modern and stylish, with Wi-Fi and a TV for gaming. Three bells are available for 10 yuan. There's a view outside, four adorable cats, and a place to hang clothes. It's a comfortable environment perfect for a long stay. The night before, my husband booked a nearby Dongmen Inn for 160 yuan a night, offering a king-size bed and a twin bed. It was a great deal, but it actually has two branches. The owner will drive you to the second branch, 5 kilometers further from the Great Wall. The owner of that branch didn't even provide basic bath towels, and the sheets weren't pure cotton. One of the beds was very itchy. The next day, we paid for a more expensive hotel, and our son said it was much better.

The proprietress is really good, especially responsible, and just said that the room environment is definitely the look after deep cleaning, the sheets and quilts are clean and there are no stains and they are very hearty, and the linen such as towels are also new! The atmosphere is very good, refreshing and transparent, and the small stone paving on the ground of the small courtyard is very sensational! The hot spring is also very good. The housekeeper will measure the water temperature. After the water temperature reaches the standard, the rain cloth is opened. It is very clean! Overall, this holiday is perfect (Finally, if you barbecue, please remember to bring enough carbon, if you don’t order carbon, Mr. Butler will enthusiastically help to light it)

The hotel is very nice and the service is excellent. We stayed during the Mid-Autumn Festival, when there were many activities. Across from the hotel is the World Horticultural Exposition Park, which came with complimentary tickets when we booked our room. We went right to the park after checking in. It wasn't crowded, making it perfect for a walk with the kids. Next to the hotel is Qibabu Amusement Park, which the kids loved and enjoyed for hours. The hotel also has a hot spring and a good buffet. Overall, the experience was positive.

The room is clean and tidy, with a reasonable layout. Every piece of furniture is in the right place. The decoration details are well handled, and the bedding is of good quality. The breakfast is rich, but unfortunately there are not many kinds of fruits, no freshly squeezed juice, and no ice milk. The cookies given upon check-in are delicious. In addition, the front desk staff at check-in (around 3 pm on May 5) were very friendly and efficient. At check-out, due to the low occupancy rate, the check-out was delayed for two hours for free. In general, compared with its price (package price 599), the hardware and service are already very good, but for an international chain of five-star hotels, the details of the breakfast are indeed not in place. I hope that at least there will be some improvement when the passenger flow is large.

Beijing has two main airports: Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX). PEK handles most international and long-haul flights, while PKX is a newer hub serving both domestic and international routes.

Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK): Located about 15 miles (25 km) northeast of the city centre, PEK is the busiest and most common arrival point for flights from the UK. It is well-connected to the city by the Capital Airport Express, taxis, and shuttle buses.

Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX): Situated around 29 miles (46 km) south of central Beijing, PKX is a modern airport designed to handle growing passenger numbers. Transport options include the Daxing Airport Express, intercity rail, taxis, and buses.

GGuest User This homestay is very easy to find on the side of the road. The small courtyard is very quiet. The loft room is very large and divided into two floors. It is very spacious for 1 family of 4 people. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are what I like very much. Sitting in front of the window and drinking tea is simply comfortable! In addition, the river is opposite the yard. It has now been frozen. You can go skating. The landlord also prepared an ice car. The children had a great time playing, hahaha! After the ice exercise ended, the landlord also prepared tea for us to cook tea in the stove. It was great! In short, it gave us a lot of unexpected surprises! Thank you for your enthusiastic landlord! I will definitely come back next year to feel the 4 seasons you said hahaha ……

GGuest UserI have been to Wild Duck Lake several times, and I have experienced several different styles of hotel and homestays. I recommend this one in general. First, the hotel hardware is good, the rooms are spacious, the decoration is very new, and there are some small children's facilities; Second, the hotel is in a good location. It is close to the Wild Duck Lake and the World Park during the day. At night, the hotel rests and is quiet enough to be leftovers. It is worthy of the name of the Yishe in the garden. Of course, the boss is very enthusiastic and the needs of the customers are met as much as possible.

LLilili22121999Hygienic: A bit clean, dust allergy, specially selected new homestay. It is really very clean, from the public area to the guest room, it can be dust-free, the boss is really attentive. The new store is more concerned about the taste of the decoration, and I also called the boss in advance. After coming, there was really no taste at all, and it was really friendly to people with rhinitis. This is really very satisfied. Environment: It is full of large floor-to-ceiling windows, and it is a pleasant surprise to open the door and see the mountains. The balcony is surrounded by glass, and the view is completely unobstructed by sight. The room has a large balcony, and the stars that turn off the light bulb before going to bed are too relaxing. Service: completely different from the hotel's service experience. Just arrived at the store, the boss prepared freshly ground coffee, freshly squeezed juice (non-prefabricated), the dinner boss prepared hot pot, desserts after the meal, the drinks are very rich. Before I went, I was worried about eating, and the boss had thought of it all for me in advance. The boss and his wife are also very warm and interesting people, and they have been talking for a long time. Facilities: The room is very large, very open, and the bedding is very comfortable and dry. The central air conditioner is no noise, the bathtub is not a plastic bathtub, and it is equipped with a thick bath bag, and the hot water supply is very stable. The towel bath towel is very thick and soft, and the constant temperature shower is. The room has a small refrigerator and is equipped with free drinks. Slippers, toothbrushes, razors, and the quality is very good. It can be used repeatedly. The next day I left the store, the boss got up early in the morning and prepared breakfast. This was a very different accommodation experience. Before leaving, the boss also sent a small gift with local characteristics. Even eating and taking is really great value. Really good value for money

[Super heartfelt evaluation! ] We must call our landlord brother and sister crazy! Yesterday, this Yanqing Courtyard B&B where I lived with a group of friends was really amazing! Let's say that this yard is too mixed! Just entered the door, the red-painted door building of the old Beijing courtyard house hooked my soul away, and when I turned my head, I saw the horse head wall and gave me a whole —— Why did I still cross to Huizhou? The most funny thing is that there is a big Northeast cockroach hidden in the house! A few of our southern friends howled and flung up, that simmered warmly, with air conditioning can almost live the winter! The six rooms are all new and bright, the bedding smells of sunshine, and the bathroom is cleaner than my own! Focus on boasting about this fairy kitchen! The good guy opened the cabinet and I was shocked. The bone porcelain plate was bright enough to look in the mirror. The high cups were neatly arranged. This is not a five-star hotel configuration! Double-open large refrigerator + commercial freezer, we brought 30 pounds of lamb rolls are dissatisfied! It's fun at night! The front yard has a barbecue grill and oil, and the backyard iron pot is squeaking and fragrant. It's ten miles away to eat and drink. Maiba is in the KTV ”The most dazzling ethnic style”. The mahjong table is ”hu!” screaming one after another. The most amazing thing is that when the night is quiet, lying in the yard to see the stars, the fruit forest in the south rustles, and the security guard in the parking lot in the north also helps us to see the car. This sense of security is absolutely amazing! The landlord sister is very caring! I heard that we are going to turn on the floor heating in advance, and we will stuff the apples we grow before leaving! Don't say anything, we will come to Panyu to eat iron pot when it snows in winter! Brothers and sisters will be done by rushing to this fairy yard! [Love][Love][Love]

Facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped, even featuring a private courtyard and kitchen, perfect for group meals.
