Hotel near Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing

The hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location, with the subway station directly outside its entrance. The hotel environment is pleasant, and the housekeeping staff provided very attentive service. However, since it was during the summer holiday period, the hotel was extremely busy. The check-in process felt a bit lacking, and we experienced a rather long wait time. Given that guests are usually tired after their journeys, I hope they consider increasing staffing during busy periods. Furthermore, the breakfast selection was quite limited. Over our six-day stay, the same options were served daily without any changes, which became very repetitive.

Nice hotel in a good location not far from the old train station and wangfujing. Really impressive gym and swimming pool, friendly staff, and good breakfast! The only slightly annoying thing was the music in the breakfast room, always the same tune neverending. That could do with ab upgrade ;) but seriously nothing really to complain about.

This is a Peking Opera-themed hotel, and we were able to enjoy authentic Peking Opera performances here for free. It was a wonderful opportunity to truly experience the quintessence of Chinese culture. Overall, it was a very memorable trip; the conditions and facilities were excellent. My only minor point is that some of the facilities felt a little dated. The location is very convenient for transport; a taxi can take you directly to the Tiananmen Square area, and both the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City are also very close by.

Hotel is nice and modern. room is very comfortable.
It's a bit too warm in the room during winter stay. But I could cope by openning one window.
overall excellent hotel and great service.
特别感谢 门卫小徐,服务非常棒。有两次我的快递送到了隔壁唯实大厦,大冷天小徐帮我去取,还送到房间,非常感动。
总之非常好的入住体验。会强烈推荐给其他人。

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during our trip to Beijing, using it as a base to visit major attractions like the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall, and the Forbidden City. The location was fine overall—centrally placed enough, but realistically, no matter where you stay in Beijing, you’ll need to travel quite a bit to reach the main sights.
While the hotel has some positives, we were left a little disappointed by a few aspects. First, there is no bar, which surprised us given that this is a 5-star hotel. It would have been nice to have somewhere on-site to relax with a drink in the evenings after long days of sightseeing.
Another issue was the handling of deliveries. In other hotels we’ve stayed at in China, staff usually place deliveries directly into delivery robots for quick and easy room service. At this hotel, this rarely happened, and we often had to go down to reception ourselves, which felt a bit inconvenient.
The biggest issue during our stay was the air conditioning. It was very hot during our time in Beijing, and unfortunately, the room aircon wasn’t strong enough to keep the room cool. We reported this to the staff, and while someone did come to check it, there wasn’t much improvement afterwards.
Overall, the hotel is clearly older, and while that’s not necessarily a bad thing, we did feel that considering the price, a higher level of comfort and service should be expected. With a few improvements, especially to facilities and room comfort, they could offer a much better guest experience.

Jianguo Hotel is an icon of China opening up to the rest of the world since the 1980’s. It is located in the heart of Beijing’s business district, but a quiet and peaceful oasis. The hotel is so different from all the rest of the hotels, with courtyards, water ponds, and trees. The service is classic, fitting for a hotel of its statue. After staying in countless business hotels I found Jianguo Hotel is one of kind and my favorite.

Stayed at Gongda Jianguo Hotel. Beijing had strong winds and low temperatures in the past two days, but it did not stop the hotel's warm service. The front desk took the initiative to arrange a room facing the sun. The north wind was howling outside, but the room was warm and comfortable. The lobby was full of a festive atmosphere. The front desk also gave me a souvenir when I checked out. It was the same as the one hanging in the hotel lobby, ”The First Blessing in the World”. It turned out to be the imperial calligraphy of Emperor Kangxi. Very good, I like it very much. It was a pleasant stay. I was very happy.

Very friendly and helpful staff and absolutely good service. We however noted the shower pressure was not good enough and the room was with smoke smell. The staff tried their best I believe but the small still stayed after the cleaning.
As someone who frequently stays in hotels and often explores family-friendly options in Beijing's suburbs with my children, I chose Vision Hotel this time purely for its proximity to an event my child had in Changping.
To be objective, my personal experience is that the hotel's decor is rather unremarkable, lacking thoughtful, user-centric touches. Setting aside its location next to Beihang University, a prestigious institution, I'd say the hotel's physical facilities (hardware) are stronger than its service and management (software). For instance, while there were multiple Wi-Fi login methods, most were non-functional; only the WeChat scan worked, which felt a bit like window dressing. The hotel gives off an air of indifference – as if it doesn't really matter whether you stay or not. The room itself offered no surprises; it was just a basic space upon entry. What was quite unexpected was finding four full pages dedicated to a price list for damaged items in the in-room service directory. Even the shampoo and shower gel came in tiny, disposable, finger-sized containers, giving them a rather cheap, 'knock-off' feel.
I had booked a deluxe king room for over 700 RMB, but frankly, it wasn't worth the cost. I would consider this room at this hotel acceptable if it were priced closer to 499 RMB per night.
On a positive note, the hotel's delivery robot was incredibly cute and the fastest moving hotel robot I've encountered; it even had the hotel's name, 'Vision,' on it. I sincerely hope the management (perhaps university-affiliated, given its location) invests more thought and effort into the hotel's operations and truly embodies the 'Vision' concept.
Finally, in Room 808, the toilet flush button was faulty; after flushing, you had to press it a second time to stop the tank from continuously running.

The room was incredibly spacious; we could fully open two 30-inch suitcases and lay them flat without feeling cramped at all. It also came with two tea tables and a large desk, which were super convenient for relaxing or temporarily placing items. Housekeeping was punctual every day, and towels were changed frequently, keeping the room consistently fresh and tidy. It was absolutely wonderful to relax in such a clean and comfortable room! The only minor drawback was the somewhat loud central air conditioning; I hope this can be improved.

GGuest UserExceeded expectations. The bathtub was clean and the overall hygiene was good, which was also a normal five-star standard. I didn't eat breakfast, so I don't know. Other aspects were good, and the decoration style was also good. I guess it's because the surrounding area is full of office areas so it's relatively cheap. I stayed here when I went to climb Xishan Forest Park. It's about 7 or 8 kilometers away from the East Gate. It should be the best one nearby.
