The service was okay but when we checked in they asked to see our travel log history in which we showed them but they opened up a previous customers travel history and they were worried that we had been to Shandong province but in fact they just hadn’t checked the Chinese persons travel history and they were being overly cautious because we were foreigners. We have been in Beijing for months. They also gave our room to someone else but kindly gave us a lovely upgrade to the executive apartments. The breakfast was quite disappointing the pastries were dry with a hot lamp above them and there was no flavour but a lot of variety for Chinese breakfast style food if that’s what you’re into. I wouldn’t call this a international breakfast. The waitress in the breakfast lobby kindly found us some room temperature water because they only had hot water at the buffet. Because of the location we really enjoyed our stay but we probably will not go again. The amenities were alright but for such a lovely big bath tub there was only one small bottle of body wash which only lasted one tub use and then we couldn’t have a shower or go in the tub again because there was only one bottle between the both of us. I wouldn’t say not to recommend this hotel, it would be very good for people on business trips and big families but I wouldn’t recommend it for couples. Of the five hotels we have stayed in within Beijing, this hotel is ranked last.

A very warm and satisfying stay experience. It was very cold this weekend but we felt warm and happy, especially with a baby. Because the baby likes duck elements, we informed the relevant hotel staff in advance and the hotel helped prepare little yellow duck balloons for the baby. I was very happy when I checked in and kept saying that I would come back next time. The hotel took great pains to arrange the baby's sugar control request. The exquisite snacks prepared were specially prepared to reduce sugar. It was great. I took my baby to the hospital today because I was not sure whether I would be able to come back at noon. A handsome and tall staff at the front desk was very helpful. He patiently and attentively told me not to be anxious, and helped us delay check-out until three o'clock, so that we had enough time to take a rest after taking the baby back from the hospital, and the baby could also adjust. In fact, the normal check-out time is two o'clock in the afternoon. Thank you very much for the warm-hearted gesture of the staff in special circumstances. I have been to Beijing frequently with my baby in the past few years. This is my first time staying at the Mandarin Oriental. The internal environment and the overall quality of the staff are worthy of praise. The staff are polite and smiling everywhere I go. I think I will stay there again in the future. I will choose Mandarin Oriental Hotel again with my parents and family, thank you!

Capital Hotel

Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|1.5km from Xili Pavilion
Advantages: 1. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Tiananmen Square. The nearest station is Qianmen Station on Line 2. You can walk to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the city tower, and the Forbidden City. You can also ride Tiananmen at night. 2. The lobby is very grand, the hotel covers a large area and has a garden corridor. 3. The doorman service is very good. 4. We live on the 10th floor of Block A. The room is about 38-40 square meters, which is quite spacious. The corridor is very quiet. Only by swiping the card can you go to the floor you live in, which is very safe. 5. The hotel buffet breakfast is rich in categories. Disadvantages: 1. The sound of the air conditioner is quite loud, and it is also obvious when sleeping at night. 2. The shower water in 1024 flows out in a lump, which should be broken. The water in the shower was leaking from the cracks and the toilet floor was overflowing with water. 3. The supplies of daily necessities are not timely. For example, my mother's soap is gone, and I have to call the front desk to deliver it. 4. The phone at 1023 was broken, and when I called the main station, I heard a buzzing noise. 5. The momentum of the toilet is relatively weak. 6. There is no main light in the room, only corridor light, bedside light, typhoon, floor lamp. A little darker. 7. The windows are fully sealed, semi-floor windows. The above is the real experience of staying in two rooms for five nights. After all, the price of summer vacation is also very expensive, but the hotel has been renovated for a long time and the facilities are relatively backward. All in all, I feel that the price is still on the high side.

Beijing Tiananmenwangfujing Manxin Hotel

Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|1.3km from Xili Pavilion
I can’t say enough how cute and chic this hotel is and it’s right in the middle of everything. Located in the heart on Dongcheng District. Just a 100 meters or so from Wangfujing street . There is a lot of colorful action there as this section of Wangfujing is basically is walkable mall so there are thousands of people out having fun getting ice cream and shopping . Very lively area. Located on Dong A Men Street The hotel is just a 12 minute walk from Subway line 1, especially great if you take the inexpensive train and subway connection from Daxing airport or Beijing International . No need to deal with taxis if you don’t want to.. There are great places to eat to the right or left of the hotel . Whether Peking duck or noodles. Whatever your heart desires, you won’t go hungry . There are also little shops for sweets, gifts, pastries or water. .Also not far from Tiananmen Square. Or the Forbidden city , about a 20-25 min walk. For the price the hotel is absolutely worth it and have seen a lot less comfort and dullness for a lot more . The place is updated and modern and the rooms look just like in the pictures on google or what have you. No disappointment, No surprises, no filthiness, mold or peeling paint. We got the Superior Smart Room with window. There are so many nice things in the room like heated toilet seat, great high pressure shower , with head from high above , a fridge, white glass ,blue and gold tones throughout , power curtains( just yank a little on them and they open or close the rest of the way, nice! ) , nice cluster of buttons by the side of the bed with USB or to activate different light or things and just cool modern decor We decided to book breakfast with our stay which is an additional charge of $9, Sure you can eat cheaper outside if you just want a bowl of noodle but you will not be disappointed eating hear either, located on the 5th floor roof top This not a tea and biscuit or waffle and dried egg buffet. This is a full on staffed event with a cook working in the back . The choices of eastern and western food is endless. It’s very large .you will be satisfied . The 5th floor is the outdoor roof where u can sit and enjoy some fresh air and it also has an indoor lounge . The inside lounge has a microwave, a small couch, washing machines(1 or 2, don’t remember ) , two stationary bikes . A couch etc… a place to chill if you want . They have WiFi, though the staff helped me connect I couldn’t really get mine to work. Maybe you will have better luck . The staff is helpful and friendly though English is at a very very minimum. But that’s ok , hell we are in their country right? Just get out your google translate and they will translate back. I found this to be the best method of communicating. In the end , with all the benefits of proximity to food, attractions , subway we would not hesitate to stay here again. Really nice small hotel

Madison Hotel Wangfujing Tiananmen Beijing

Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
The hotel I originally stayed at was unavailable for some reason. Thanks to the Ctrip platform for helping me switch to this hotel. The hotel is located very close to Wangfujing Street and a four- to five-minute walk from Wangfujing Subway. It is absolutely convenient to travel. The lobby of the hotel is bright and clean, and the entire decoration style is modern, light and luxurious, very fashionable. The rooms are equipped with smart lights, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is large and clean. There is also a laundry area in the public area, which is convenient for business travelers who want to stay for a few more nights. The restaurant environment is very good, and the breakfast variety is also rich. The hotel's front desk waiters, restaurant waiters, and room waiters all have very good attitudes and will proactively greet you warmly. The stay experience was very good, I will choose it next time
China Great Hall Hotel

Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
In order to see the raising of the national flag, I took my children to stay in a twin room. It was a very pleasant experience. The overall impression: 1. Very upright, no matter the hotel or waiter; 2. Very safe, right next to the Great Hall of the People. Every unit around has soldiers. Brother, I often meet the People’s Liberation Army when walking on the road; 3. Clean, cars and takeaways can’t reach the door of the hotel, so you can walk 2 or 3 straight from the intersection; 4. Watching the national flag raising and visiting Tiananmen Square have a natural geographical advantage, and I have only used 1 Road security check. It is said that all the people outside have passed through 3 security checks, and the national flag was raised at 5:10. We got up at 3 o’clock and washed up at 3:15 to reach the security checkpoint, successfully occupying the first row position; 5. The hotel is old, but it feels very clean I heard that it’s my own cleaning unit, but the bed is not too big; 6. I was lucky to stay in the room and I just saw Tiananmen Square and the National Museum outside the window; in short, I don’t like to write reviews so much. I would like to praise the hotel next time. Will choose.

We spent 6 nights in this hotel with our little one (9 month-old). The room was spacious and comfortable, we slept the three of us in the bed and it was big enough. The staff is quite helpful, they try to help you as much as they can even though just a couple of them speak English, with the other ones you need to use a translator. The position is the best you can find, you take a little stroll and you are in the forbidden city and in the main roads of Beijing. I was a bit disappointed about the breakfast, not many choices for who prefers sweet breakfast in the morning. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was warm water and hot drinks to welcome us back to the hotel everyday. Highlight was the self service cotton candy machine and the rooftop with views of Forbidden City. Buffet breakfast spread was also very good. It is about 5-10mins walk away from the main Wangfujing shopping street, but still very convenient. Definitely made our first trip to Beijing with young kids a very comfortable one.

Although it is an old hotel, it is not as delicate as those old hotels. Instead, it gives people a friendly and amiable feeling. I was given three 200 yuan food coupons as soon as I arrived, and the waiter also helped me deliver my luggage to the room. Needless to say, the location is great. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Tiananmen Square. Opposite is the National Museum and Wangfujing Street is next to it. Everything is within walking distance. The room we booked was the Purple Gold Suite, and you can drink whatever you want in the room. The room facilities are also very complete, but the only drawback is that the toilet and shower room are too transparent and there is no privacy at all.

The hotel in the Siheyuan is very unique. It is right next to Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. There is a bus at the door, which is very convenient. If you don’t want to walk, you can take the bus. The subway is also very close. The hotel staff is very friendly and the environment is great. It's also very good. You can also dry clothes upstairs. It's really convenient. I must give it a five-star rating. I will definitely recommend my friends to live here in Beijing.
