After dinner, we went to soak in the hot springs at 7 o'clock. The open-air journey from the hotel to the hot springs was not very friendly on a winter night. In addition, the lights in the hot springs were too dark at night, so it was easy to get empty in the pool. The breakfast is indeed of limited quality, and the previous buffet dinner was not highly rated. The summary is, don’t catch up on holidays. Overall, 5 points, and only 3 points for holidays.

When we checked in the next day, we were really surprised. The room was decorated with ”Happy Birthday” and the room was upgraded to a balcony room, which made the whole family excited. Just went for a quick getaway. The hotel is in a great location for some shopping, relaxation, and to get around. From the moment of arrival to departure, I had not one complaint. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the dining facilities and room service were excellent. The room was clean and welcoming. And the bathtub was heaven sent. We used the gym and swimming pool, both of which were in excellent condition. They offered bottled water and towels as well as swimming gear and essentials. I definitely will stay for a weekend again in the future.

First of all, I would like to thank the girl at the front desk for upgrading the room. Secondly, I was very touched that domestic cartoons were played on the patio in the evening. There is a projector on every wall with very good picture and sound effects. It’s really wonderful to watch domestic cartoons in a national-brand hotel. The upgraded room is a suite with a courtyard, which is closer to a townhouse. A single house but not a single wall. The extremely high-decibel music next door continued to output. Hearing this is Africa from the Great Compassion Mantra was very depressing. Fortunately, after the staff prompted, the volume was reduced to ”not noticeable to the naked ear.” The courtyard of the suite is large but poorly maintained and has low utilization rate. Most of the indoor area is allocated to the living room and office area, leaving very little space for the bedroom and bathroom area. Moreover, the shower and bathtub in the bathroom have no partitions and are enclosed in simple glass. The design does not feel suitable for the price of this room. The plastic shell of the socket above the sink has fallen off. The cold and hot water in the shower are all red. I turned the red button and left it for a long time and the water became colder. Only then did I realize that both knobs were red. . The accompaniment is water of Parma, which smells delicious. The room has three types of heating equipment: floor heating, air conditioning, and electric heating. Every time I return to the room, I feel very warm both physically and mentally. The park strictly restricts outside vehicles. Unregistered vehicles are not allowed to enter the park. Takeaways are only placed on the ground outside Gate No. 7. If you don't eat at the hotel, there don't seem to be any other good options for dining. The staff's clothing is very distinctive.

The location of the hotel is so closed to the MRT stat - 崇文门，the entrance/exit is just right in-front of the hotel! As it was off-peak season when we visited Beijing, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. We really appreciate the kind act. While I was still at other part of China, I thought of ordering something online and use this hotel as the receiving end, I thought of just checking it out, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel does provide such service and the staff helpfully guided me on how to do so. After I checked into the hotel and gotten the item I ordered, a few days later, but sadly the item didn't suit me, the hotel again provides the service of allowing the courier staff to go to the counter to collect back the return item. I was amazed by the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.

Stay away! The saving grace came from Trip.com which enabled me to terminate our booking without penalty. Awful garbage smell in the room. We checked in at 1am due to late flight arrival. Upon entering the room we we’re concerned about a strange smell in the room. We thought it would go away so we just opened the window. It was late we decided we would ignore the smell but by 6.30 am we couldn’t ignore the foul smell anymore. So we wrote to trip.com to terminate our booking. By 9am we’re ready to check out. At the checkout counter the staff was gracious and friendly and she said our booking was terminated at our request. Just too many faults with this hotel room. Chair needs to be replaced. It easily toppled backwards. Toilet door can’t completely closed. Not sufficient electrical outlets to plug your devices. Curtains are dirty. No hooks in toilet. Only positive staff was friendly.

Location is EXCELLENT! It's just across the subway. And there are plenty of shopping malls and flagship stores for many international brands around. Super convenient with restaurants that serve super delicious local meals just next to the hotel. Staff is super attentive even in the middle of the night. Room bed and blankets are comfortable. Enough supply of bottles of water everyday. Free flow is Chinese tea and coffee at the lobby is definitely a big plus!! The only down side is the cigarette smoke at the corridor of the rooms.
