Hotel Melius ★★★
"We liked a lot . The room was very nice and clean, super comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient, although there was a lack of variety of products, namely fresh fruit (not canned in syrup, and vegetable drink options). Overall, for a 3 star hotel, it is very good. We must praise the friendliness and professionalism of the girl who served us at reception."
Vila Gale Alentejo Vineyard - Clube de Campo ★★★★
"The tour was very good and calm. Guilherme and Dado were excellent, Guilherme was very helpful and friendly. Dado was very coordinated and friendly. Then the girls also went on a pony ride with Gabriel and they loved it... Happy holidays....."
Holiday Inn BEJA by IHG ★★★
"Had another very good stay. This time we had breakfast which was good but the second day the hotel was quite busy and the staff could not keep up with clearing tables and replacing food and orange juice."
BejaParque Hotel ★★★★
"Modern room, with all amenities, very quiet and comfortable. Very close to the center and shopping areas. Easy parking, great leisure area, varied breakfast, with extended opening hours and available and extremely friendly staff. It was a great stay!"
Guest House Stories ★★★
"We had a wonderful stay at The Stories Guest House in Beja. The bedroom was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spotlessly clean — the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The building itself is full of charm and character, blending modern comfort with a lovely, traditional touch. Breakfast was also a highlight — a very good selection with something for everyone, fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was peaceful, and everything about the experience felt warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!"
HI Beja - Pousada de Juventude ★★
"IMT & AIMA & IRN This hotel is actually very perfect for working. There is a bus stop near the hotel."
Pousada Convento de Beja – Historic Hotel ★★★★
"This is one of the best Pousadas we have stayed at. It is magnificent and very spacious, having a small number of bedrooms but huge spacious areas. Well done Pestana on not ruining the magnificence of the building while creating an exceptionally comfortable, indeed luxurious, hotel. The bedrooms are the old monks's cells (Yes although it is called a convent, it was Franciscan monks who stayed here). We stayed on the second floor and had a huge vaulted ceiling so the room remained remarkably cool despite it being 30C outside. The breakfasts were super reflecting some of the local produce. Beja is very much worth a visit. It is unpretentious but contains an amazing array of wee museums that are worth visiting. We will certainly return."
Agroturismo Xistos ★★★
"Fantastic place, literally in the middle of the Alentejo mountains. Access via a rural road increases the anticipation and curiosity of what you will actually find. Great for relaxing and spending quality time with family. Giovana is an excellent hostess and prepared a very good breakfast with regional products."
Vila Gale Collection Monte do Vilar ★★★★
"Very new hotel, well decorated with very comfortable room and views of the Alentejo landscape, the pool is also magnificent with an amazing view, adults only, the only rating not being top because breakfast was a very bad experience, I don't know if we were unlucky but breakfast, which is usually a buffet, was à la carte and didn't work out at all, there was only orange juice for 2 or 3 people and then it ran out, ordering took a long time and its quality was poor, really for such a pleasant stay I didn't expect it to end so badly, there were few customers but the staff was only one person for all the tables and another for eggs/pancakes with little experience, I think it would have been better with the buffet..."

Herdade da Malhadinha Nova - Relais & Châteaux
"We were a party of six and booked the wine tour and tasting with some tapas on a Saturday afternoon. Our expectations were high having seen the hotel reviews and the price of the wines Malhadinha offer. We arrived a little early and were asked to wait because two others would be joining us but they were still having lunch. 15 minutes after the start time, they still hadn't shown up so we started the tour of the facilities. Our guide was friendly and the site was quite impressive but he seemed a bit in a hurry. When we got to the wine tasting there were 4 wines - we have been to many wine tastings in Portugal and elsewhere and the amount of wine offered was very small. Also, the whole process felt very rushed - after starting 15 minutes late, we finished 15 minutes early! Perhaps our host wanted to get away on a Saturday afternoon. Overall not a good experience which has put us off trying the restaurant especially if any wine pairings are handled in the same way as the tasting. In contrast, the wine tasting at nearby Herdade dos Grous was a fantastic experience."
Marias Guesthouse Beja
"My Husband and I just stayed here for 16 days, and I must say this place is awesome! Paulo and his staff were very gracious and attentive. The breakfasts were amazing a lot of food to start our day. I would highly recommend this place to stay while in Beja. We plan on visiting again next year."
