"Our stay at Cinzaco Fugenzo was perfect! The house has everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Each of the three bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom, and the showers are spacious and modern. The cozy living room with a fireplace and the indoor barbecue area made evenings extra special. The kitchen is fully equipped, making self-catering a breeze, and the DSTV provided great entertainment options. Families will love the outdoor play area, and we felt very secure with the private parking. It was fantastic to have a pet-friendly space, and we appreciated the accessible bedroom and bathroom for wheelchair users. Cinzaco Fugenzo is ideal for families or groups looking for a relaxing, welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent venue for trout fishing. Been there twice. This time however a cold front took fish of the bite. The chalets are excellent equipped and very cosy once the fire is burning. The dams are on your front stoep and the staff extremely friendly. Please is well kept and well looked after. Wifi and TV is not up to scratch as signal is dropped non stop and it is an effort to watch anything or to use the internet."

"A beautiful, quaint 10-room hotel. The setting and rooms are lovely. I just did not like an open toilet without a door in the room or frosting on the glass. The location is top-notch, and sitting on the balcony overlooking the dam was tranquil and peaceful. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, and all the staff were friendly and helpful, just a tad slow due to a staff member to little."

"A wonderful hotel that I wish I could’ve spent more than just one night at! The room was so cozy with the fireplace, the view from the room was stunning and the property was beautiful. Nothing more you could ask for. The four course dinner was DELICIOUS (the menu changes every night and when we were there I had the a leek soup - one of the best I’ve ever had, mushroom fricasee, and trout stuffed with risotto. My husband had the springbok carpaccio and the kudu steak which were both delicious as well). My massage with Shanon was exactly what I needed, even the view from the spa was gorgeous. The staff were super friendly and were so kind as to light our fire while we were out at dinner. 100% would return to and would recommend (though I am inclined to gate-keep this little spot)!"

"ospective guests, be warned! This place is a dive of note. The actual chalets are nothing like shown on the website or booking sites. Our equestrian chalet had a totally broken fireplace, even after selling us wood at the “convenience store”. There was an upturned bin outside our unit with rubbish strewn everywhere. The condition of the doors and bathrooms was abysmal. I called the reception service mobile number but it went to message twice and nobody called me back. The service at the restaurant was really slow and waiters were wearing tracksuits and beanies. They had no clue about the food served. There was no trout in stock. We came all the way to Dullstroom for the famous trout! We settled for the fish and chips which was rubbery and the chips tasteless. My son’s steak was so tough he had to chew and spit some of it out. The staff were trying their best but clearly there is no management of this establishment. So disappointing and feels like a ripoff for more than R2000 for the night as well as R180 conservation fee, for what?"
