Cleanliness great, hotel room beautiful. Great touches like tea, coffee machine and water in fridge. Will definitely stay here again and staff friendly and welcoming. 5 stars 🌟

No toilet paper or soap in room on arrival. Also only one bath towel for 2 people. No phone in rooms so had to go down to reception to advise on problems. View from room was a grim vista of building site/back yard.

Location is great for being fairly central. However the hotel doesn't have soundproofing windows like in other Premier inns I have stayed at. Unfortunately the street noise had me awake continously throughout both nights which wasn't good as I was there to work. The room was basic with a tiny TV and lighting was awful. The rooms really need an upgrade. The restaurant is OK and clean and modern.. Please Premier inn spend some money on this hotel.

Terrible customer service. The meal deal offered was not available, the refund for the meals was done partially three weeks later, and after 9 weeks I am still waiting for the missing refund. Don’t pay in advance any meal to avoid frustration with

The hotel is in dire need of the refurb it's currently undergoing but there are issues with refurbing a hotel whilst keeping it open - some of the rooms don't have heating and some of them have a lot of noise from the construction. Our room was actually fine in that regard, at least the 2nd room we were given was. The 1st room was setup as a double despite booking a twin and checking that with reception at check-in and that room didn't have heating and based on the noise in that corridor during working hours would have been a lot more noisy from the construction. We've had this hotel booked for a long time and we weren't notified about the refurbishment work taking place which we also weren't impressed with. Reception staff were helpful and friendly, and I had to speak to them pretty much daily to get the room keys re-programmed as they kept not working which did seem to be a common and recurring problem with the keys. Wouldn't touch the attached Bar and Block restaurant, appalling customer service. Breakfast was OK but not the best I've had in a Premier Inn by far

So disappointing. Longtime committed customers, especially to this hotel. It has declined so badly. Booking in was unfriendly. Customers, not only myself, we're spoken to very curtly. No need for rudeness. I tried to ignore and excuse this but it continued throughout the 2 day stay. Bar, restaurant staff just as unfriendly. Eye rolling and audible sighing when customers asked for drinks etc. Staff come across as fed up and uninterested. Room very tired and worn out. Light shades/ fixtures ripped and falling off wall.

Yes the location is great right in the middle of cathedral quarter but no hot breakfast available ,(despite having paid for it ) room noisy due to refurbishment works , problems with the shower ,stains in carpets just some of the reasons why we would not stay in this hotel again

Booked a room with a bath and the room we got given had a shower in a tiny bathroom with the sink in the bedroom. The duvet was stained and floor was dirty. Construction under our window which we weren’t made aware of
