Hotel Bohemian Garni - Skadarlija

Very clean and comfortable for a tourist stay. Within 5 minutes, there's a supermarket, many cafes, bars, and restaurants. We had a bar under our window that was noisy until 12 AM, but it didn't leave a negative impression as we ourselves went to bed quite late.

We were a party of three, staying from July 11th to 12th. The hotel is old and run-down. The front desk staff doesn't seem to know what friendliness is, and probably hasn't heard that one should smile. We were checked into room 209; the towels were grey, there was mold in the bathroom, and it was scary to touch anything. The bathroom door was swollen at the bottom, and the architrave was covered in fungi. The bed was wooden, and the bed linen wasn't fresh. Overall, we just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. If the room hadn't been prepaid, we wouldn't have stayed there.

Fantastic hotel in a great area! The rooms are lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. We had an early check-out, and they even prepared a breakfast to go for us. They made the 'white card' (registration card) themselves.

Excellent, everything was great. Yes, it's located on a rocky stretch, but it's less than a 3-minute walk to the hotel from a paved road. It might be inconvenient with luggage and heels, though. I booked a single room, but it seems I was upgraded to a higher class room. My phone wouldn't connect to the Wi-Fi, and the administrator went above and beyond to fix the issue. After restarting the router, everything connected fine. The staff is welcoming and friendly. They provide a white cardboard (card key/pass). I recommend it!

Great hotel. The location is super convenient. My room was clean, spacious, and quiet – I couldn't hear any of my neighbors at all. The front desk staff were friendly and always ready to help.

If you're coming from Skadarlija Street, you'll have to drag your luggage over the cobblestone streets (taxis can't access it). The hotel entrance to the front desk is all stairs, so carrying heavy luggage is quite a challenge! (Though the staff did help me carry it.) The building is old but spacious and renovated, and the facilities were new and clean. There was instant coffee provided. I had read reviews saying there were no amenities, so I brought my own slippers, but towels were available. When I checked out, the taxi I had asked them to call didn't show up. When I returned to the hotel, it was already locked (at 11:30 AM). This is a very charming area, once known as Belgrade's Montmartre, where artists used to gather, and there were many Serbian restaurants.

Great hotel, great service. The bed was good, and the minibar was well-stocked, although I didn't use it. To get to reception, you have to go up a flight of stairs, and I couldn't find an elevator. Unfortunately, the room smelled very musty.

Perfect central location on a quiet street, delicious breakfasts, everything was great.

Convenient location and a 24-hour front desk. I didn't have local currency on me, but they waited patiently while I went to exchange some. The staff were very helpful.
